The cancellation process is unscrupulous. Its like they are hiding something so they can charge more money. I was happy with the place but now I'm not. I will settle this in small claims court.

I signed up on Dec 27th online for "The" membership including the childcare. On Dec 29th I asked to cancel the membership since I wasn't meaning to place that specific gym as my home gym. I was told "It didn't matter" because of the membership that I signed up for. I called on January 6th just to verify the dates I would be charged. I was then told about the yearly membership fee being charged before the monthly one. I wasn't aware of this so I asked if I could speak to management to make arrangements for this since my check hits my account weirdly. Again I inquired about canceling so that I could sign up at a time when I was more financially prepared. I was told that the General Manager would contact me within the hour to talk about this. No one called me that day. I called and spoke to several people including the General Manager at another location that told me I could speak to them on Monday since it was Friday and I wouldn't have time since I was driving home from CO. When Monday came around I was told that the child Care hours conflicted with my work schedule and my daughter's nap time. Hours for child care were not disclosed before this. Not even online. I told the ** this in person and he looked. It's not listed. So again I told them to cancel to be told that I need to pay the annual membership fee and the cancellation. I was told they did me a favor by discounting ********* monthly. I emailed corporate and no response other than I can move the membership to another location and that they would waive the fee to move it. I'm annoyed by the customer service and frustrated at the lack of care and resolution. The only one to give accurate and whole information was the ***************** and as for the ** She didn't even attempt to reach out to resolve the issue. Worst experience I've ever had at any gym. And I didn't even get to work out there.

Today i went to work out at 10:30 AFTER my daughters dentist appts she is in 4th grade the child care turned her away & said she cannot come during school hours that Id have to come back at 4 (which is inconvenient) my daughter doesnt even go to CCISD has a different schedule so shes not off when they are & also what if she was homeschooled they had ONE child in there. I am highly upset to get turned away after I PAY for that service. I ended up canceling my membership & then he stated I needed to give them 15 day notice so id still be charged.

I cancelled my membership in May 2022 but in July 2022 began receiving emails stating there was an issue with my account billing. I attempted to contact Freedom Fitness Saratoga multiple times over 3 months but there was either never a manager on duty able to file my paperwork or they had the "wrong paperwork filed". None of their staff was able to clear this issue with my account for 3 whole months until I finally was able to get ahold of someone in Collections. I had to pay 68$ in late fees for an account that I had cancelled months ago. Very disappointed with the customer service and recordkeeping.

Woke up this morning to find $38 charged TWICE on my account from freedom fitness. Theyve been trying to pull money since a couple of days ago and Ive called numerous times saying Im pregnant and do not need the membership anymore. Ive even stopped by in person with proof Im pregnant ! Im so mad because that money was part of my rent, Im going through a hard time and they literally took a lot out. I called a little while ago but now I have to wait for the manager to call me when she goes in which isnt until a couple of hours from now. Im so so sooo upset !!

I was recently in the hospital in a coma in ICU and was not able to utilize my membership. I was told i would still be billed and need a doctors note to which i cant obtain because i dont have health insurance. I lost my job. They still want to charge me to exit the contract like a 49 dollar fee plus charge us for the month of May. Thankfully i was able to close my bank account. I do not recommend this gym to anyone.
