About six months ago I bought two ****** wave runners from this business and as of today I havent got my title or been able to register because they sold me a jet ski thats is registered on someone else name, I have been going to them every month but they dont help me at all , I need them to give me my money back and keep your jets skis

I spoke with ****** ******** 30 or so minutes before she filed this complaint.  As this was the first time I became aware of the situation, I informed her that I would be looking into the matter and would follow up with her.

Mr. ******** purchased two skis and a trailer from my dealership in April of this year.  We have had an issue retrieving one of the titles from the person who traded them in.  We are currently working on handling that issue.  I was able to process a claim for a lost title today and we should have it in the dealership by the first week of January as we paid for expidited service from the state.  Once here, we can process the title application and have the title sent to the lien holder.

When Mr. ******** reached out to my staff regarding temporary tags that had expired, he was provided with at least one additional set to allow him to use the skis while we sorted out the title issue.  These temporary tags are good for 90 days.  The first temp tag was good until 7/25 (90 days from the purchase date) the second tag would have been good until at least 10/25 if Mr. ******** would have come in on the exact date that the other tag expired on.  My staff did not record when he was given the second temporary tag.

There is an issue here and it does fall on my staff initially for not checking on the title/ownership documents when the skis were traded in.  My sales manager had assumed everything was in there after a quick glance but did not realize one of the titles was missing until the packet was pulled when the skis were sold to the Harrisons.  My staff has communicated numerous times with the previous owner and he consistently informed them he was working on getting the title but he never followed through.  I can provide that communication string if necessary. I feel that my staff were doing their best to rectify the situation within their means.

During our phone call, ****** informed me that she would like us to purchase them back as they were unable to use them becuase of the title issue.  I feel like this is incorrect as every ski we sell goes out the door with a temporary tag and our customers are informed that they are to use that until they stickers come in.  If they weren't using it, why would they come in and get a second temporary tag?  I did inform her that I would need to look into the situation more to see what we could offer in a buy back.  Items like taxes and registration on the other ski and trailer are items that have already been paid to the state and I cannot refund.  In addition, I will need them to bring the skis to me in order to perform an evaulation to see how many hours have been added to each ski and to verify they are in the same condition as when they left.

I will reach out again to inform ****** that I was able to process the lost title request and to go over the process of us making an offer to purchase them back.

Stopped by to upgrade my motorcycle. ******** stated my trade-in needed tires because they were dry rotted. My trade is was not good and they could give me $3500 at best and that the finance company had the last word on hoe much "upside down" they could allow. I agreed and he ran my credit. He came back and said $2000 down and they would do it. I told hIm I had the $2000 down and they came out and said the bike needed a kickstand and it wouldnt be ready till the next day because it takes a whole day to change the kickstand. I refused and they said they were putting their best effort into installing a kickstand. It was 2pm and they closed at 6pm 4hrs for a kickstand. After that, the bike was ready at 3:30pm. I went in and now the salesman says that the finance company made a mistake and they NOW wanted $3900 and my trade. They already had my $2000 and a deprecheated value on my trade. I refused and asked for my money. They credited my $2000 but said they didnt know when it would be loaded back on my card. I believe they "tried me out" they didnt think I had the credit score or money for a down payment and once they realized I met all the requirements, they changed their mind. I had already paid the down payment and allowed them to run my credit. They shouldnt have done either. I believe they are discriminating against me. I dont know why, but it could be for any reason. Creditwise, i had a 712 score with $2k paid. No reason for them to raise the down payment. I told them if the trade was not possible, that we could do the deal without the trade. Theyre using shady business practices, in my opinion. The tires that they said were dry rotted are in perfect condition. No dry rotting. They siad they were running my credit through my old finance company, and they didnt. Its an IN HOUSE type finance that they control and run. They decide on approval by who they know or what they think of the person by live critique. I think all that's shady or poor business practices.

I have responded to the reveiw on ****** and the share the same sentiment here.  My staff made a mistake and did not handle this situation properly. We are not the bank and do not have any control over the downpayment.  My staff, the salesperson and salesmanager, did what they could to try and rectify the situation but unfortunately there was not enough profitability within the deal to make it finacially resonable on our end.  We have served our community for over 37 years and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that none of my staff were trying to discriminate against him.  Even though we can process a refund on the same day it was taken, it is up to the credit card company to credit the amount back and it is well know that this process takes time.  It is completely outside of our control.  We have no in house finance company but we do run a credit check to try and serve our customers with the best possible finance company option.  With rates the way they are currently, we feel it is important to find the best options for our customers.  We are not the lender, we are not the bank, and we do not control the rate nor the downpayment.  At the end of the day, their was miscommunication on my staff's side and I am sorry that he had this experience.  We will use this a ********* momement to see how we could have avoided this situation in the future.

    Better Business Bureau:

The issue is that they lied about the condition of the tires. They returned my money. I had seen this type of sales tactics before. Im disappointed. They ARE the finance company in this case. After I left they ran it under my finance company. Its ok, I will drop the whole thing. Im disappointed that they did this because I have had great customer service from the service department and accessories. I shouldve never done business with them. They have the "***********************" dirty tactics.

**** in on my ****** to go test ride the new Indian challenger. I get there and there's a white employee/salesman seated at a desk soon you walk in. Not once did salesman say one word to me Not even how my I help you. I approached him and ask if I can test ride the new Challenger. He then states because I can let you test drive you have to get approved for financing and then we have to schedule you a ride. I was shook to the core because I have never ever heard this before. I explain that I'm a cash buyer and he stated the bike battery has to be charged and that will take days. I never felt so embarrassed in all of my life. I felt disseminated against and it seemed like I wasn't wanted to actually buy a motorcycle

    Business response

Good afternoon, I am the general manager of Corpus Christi ***********.  I have reviewed this situation on our cameras and with our staff to try and get down to what exactly happened.  According to my staff, the gentleman was informed of our dealership policies and was unhappy that he was unable to take one of our motorcycles for a test drive.  Due to nationwide, multi-industry, inventory shortages, we no longer offer test drives on any vehicle unless the customer is committed to purchasing it.  We normally would stock 25 plus Indian motorcycles at all times but currently we only have 3 in inventory.  We only offer test drives on vehicles when the purchase is agreed upon and the customer is approved to purchase the vehicle.  If, after test driving the vehicle, they no longer want to purchase the bike, we then cancel the deal.  We do this to discourage joyrides and to ensure that our limited inventory remains in top condition.  We have not offered a test drive in over two years because of inventory constraints.  Additionally, I have on film my salesperson greeting the customer and the group of people he was with when they walked in.  I am sorry that the customer does not agree with our policies but these are put were put in place for the reasons previously mentioned.

    Sincerely,

    ***************************

I am rejecting this response because:

    Regards,

I came in there by myself.  There were other black people there looking at the same bike. Never knew them. Once again management has no clue on what goes on.
