My Kinetico system has been great. I have the complete whole house system with filters and K5 RO since 2019. I haven't required any service thanks to the carbon unit removing the chlorine. Aside from the annual filter change and carbon re-bed. As of now everything is still running fine and my water hasn't had any issues. Go premiere for the 10 year warranty.Review from Cecilia Z

Their customer service after the sale is horrendous. This recent freeze on Dec. 23rd caused the master valve on my water softener system to break because it is made of plastic. I was without water for 4 days until temperatures increased and pipes thawed. After everyone returned to the offices on Dec. 27th being out for the freeze, I called multiple times only to be hung up on repeatedly. I finally was received and got scheduled. The technician arrived late on Dec. 28th, removed the valve, and cut the lines to install a bypass, which he did not have to do as I already had the valve bypassed and it was not leaking. He did not ask me about doing this, he did it and said this is how they handle these situations. This cost me $185, and my problem was not fixed. I spoke to an agent (I believe on Jan. 10th) and got rescheduled and she stated if I pay for the valve in advance $250, I do not have to be present when they do the installation. I paid this amount in advance. So, I got scheduled again for them to come out to replace the valve in the 2:00-pm to 5:00-pm time slot on Saturday, Jan. 14th. I waited all day and the guy calls me at 4:45-pm stating he ran out of PVC and thus does not have the proper supplies to do the job and it would have to be rescheduled. Now, I just spoke to another agent today (Jan. 16th) to get rescheduled and she says I have to be present when the technician does the installation. This new appointment is set for Jan. 26th. It will more than a month to change what should have been a simple valve swap. I will recommend against using this company to anyone who asks.

Customer was originally charged $178.18 for the trip charge to have a tech come out and service his system that took freeze damage. Due to high demand, his system was only looped to return water to the home. The trip charged covered all visits for the freeze damage issue until completed. The bypass was damaged and he was originally quoted $250 for a Kinetico 735 bypass, but was instead added a triple valve bypass that is brass fittings. The customer never paid $250, but instead paid $50 and was completed 01/21/2023.Review from David D

These guys will go out of their way and charge their customers as much as they could. For example, after one year, they will charge their customers $175 per visit. On their sediment filters, they are charging their customer more than $80 for a washable sediment filter vs *******, just $35 for the same exact filter. Folks, go with another water system or if you wanna stick with Kenitico water system then go with ******* instead.
