I have lived in two separate units at this complex and reaching office staff is impossible, They avoid your calls and try and steal your money. My lease was up December 31st, 2022 and I put in my 30 day notice to vacate at the end of December, despite my lease being up and turned in my keys January 1st, 2023. I paid my January rent January 1st, 2023 and now they are trying to charge me $2,400.00 for I don't know what because the manager is never in the office or in a meeting when I call so I have been unable to speak with her. I spoke with the assistant, ********, who told me to call the previous property management company so I did and have not received a call or email back. So, I did a free consult with an attorney to see what my next step is and the attorney told me that it is the new property managements responsibility to get me my complete ledger as they bought the property and the leases that were already in place. I did not receive my deposit back nor did I receive a letter notifying me of an outstanding balance. The ultimate straw was when my apt flooded the week of Christmas, 2022 and it took them 4 days to come clean up the water leaving me with half of my belongings ruined. I do not have a lawyer yet but, I am unable to get any answers as to where this $2400.00 is coming from. I have emailed ******** and ******** and I have received no response and of course, they are always away from their desk when I call and are avoiding my calls because they are4 trying to steal my money. This complex is ghetto, has rats and roaches and they never fix anything. There is no afterhours number at all so if something happens after 4:30 p.m., you are screwed and you better hope they answer the phone the next day. Furthermore, when I moved in the apt in January 2022, I had no heat because the breakers were blown and it took them 2 weeks to fix it. They did not offer a portable heater or to take anything off of my rent. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!
