Ive been a customer of ********************** for about 10 years. I bought my first hybrid bike from there and its just about been the best purchase I ever couldve made. The bikes they sell are amazing; as are the people that work there. I received some handle grips as a free gift from them for customer loyalty but was having trouble with installing them. I reached out and was immediately helped out by ***** who walked me through the entire process. It was actually a pleasure to work through the problem over email and now I have a new grip on my bike and its ready to ride again. I suggest bikesdirect to any riders; novice to expert. Their products, service and people are top notch. You cant beat their prices and their folks are great to work with.Review from Charles B

I've purchased my family's last 5 bikes from Bikes Direct. I think I will have a hard time NOT using Bikes Direct for the rest of my bike needs... really. I mean the website is a bit nuts... but I'm okay with keeping the main thing the main thing - high quality bikes at ridiculous prices.Last bike I received had some ***** 'touches' so I e-mailed some pics to Bikes Direct. My man ***** responded same day and got me set up with some replacement parts so that my ride would stay smooth and stylish! Super satisfied......now I just gotta order some pegs and spoke beads!Review from Way B

Bikes Direct is our go-to for bikes. We've purchased 4 Gravity Bullseye Monsters (3 in 2019 and 1 yesterday because my son outgrew the size 16; replaced with a size 20 - he's 6-1 now) and 2 Motobecane Phantom 29ers in 2023. We are very happy with the selection, quality and prices. We've never owned "expensive, big name bikes" so we can't speak to a durability comparison BUT we can say that we ride very hard and frequently and these bikes have held up beautifully. Nothing has broken. Routine maintenance and the eventual upgrades to grips, pedals and wider handle bars keep us rolling happily year after year. SERVICE AFTER THE ***** If you ever have questions regarding your bike, Bikes Direct is very helpful. I've reached out to ***** several times over the years with maintenance and spare parts selection/ordering questions and he has always been quick to reply and perfectly helpful.Thank you ***** and Bikes Direct!Review from Ray m

While the company offers nice bikes at reasonable prices they need to remedy a few things.************** NEEDS TO GO******** 1. ******* at customer **********************/chat needs to go. He has zero clue how to communicate with customers. GO TO A BIKE SHOP is not the correct response. BE MORE CLEAR WITH CORRECT DOCS for my bike! BikesDirect!!! ***** should be getting the CORRECT documentation for the bike you buy! The documentation for my bike is NOT EVEN CLOSE to what I received!3. Assembly is easy. Yes, it is pretty straight forward but, there are some things that should be pointed out more clearly. The generic videos were exactly that GENERIC!Review from william S

I have bought three bikes from BikesDirect and expect to purchase a MtnBike soon. Their customer service is most helpful. Recently I broke the carbon frame on my gravel, and ***** at **************** was most helpful. Love this company!Review from Joshua M

This is possibly the worst experience I've ever had dealing with a company. I paid over $4000 for an ebike from Bikes Direct and it has been nothing but headaches. Eventually the frame broke and they said they would replace it and fix the issues that have plagued it from the beginning. Shipping the bike was a giant pain. They did replace the frame, which was under warranty (it took a few months) but didn't fix any of the other problems with the bike. When I contacted customer service to tell them that the battery still doesn't seat into the mount ***** tried to blame me for not doing it correctly. I sent him a video of me triying to get the battery in and he said I would need to ship the whole bike back to him to look at it. I asked if I could buy a replacement battery to see if the battery was defective but he said I could buy a new battery for $600 but that he wouldn't reimburse me if it solved the issue. Please avoid this company like the plague and go to a local bike shop that will deal with your issues without all the hassles.Review from Anton G

The bike arrived timely but with a bent derailleur. ***** agreed to send a replacement part at no charge. while there is no way to ensure 0 shipping damage all the time it's those little interactions that will shape the overall experience. thanks!Review from sean h

I purchased a bike from Bikesdirect.com 3 years ago and recently a part fell off and went missing. I contacted the customer service ***** and he quickly responded with the actual description, name, and price of the part. I purchased the part and it was sent to me by mail, with a little gift (a flask) in the same package! I recently purchased a Motobecane Uno Outcast Pro and am super pleased with the entire purchase experience as well as the new ride itself. I haven't ridden in ages and wanted just a single speed, but don't care for cruiser bikes. The Outcast ticks all the boxes for me from the smooth operating disc brakes, to the "just right" gearing. **************** was top notch - fast and efficient. I had an issue with missing essential parts and ***** took care of the problem immediately. I had my parts box within the week and was up and running in no time. I'm sure this bike will last me for many, many years to come, but if I ever choose to purchase another, Bikes Direct will be my primary source.Review from James B

I ordered a bike from them for my son. A budget entry to the full suspension tier which will help him determine if he likes the sport without breaking the bank. The value at that price tier surpassed what I could find anywhere else.Post delivery I communicated with ***** via E-mail. He sorted a small issue that happened during shipping and answered all questions we had about tweaking the bike setup to my son's height weight.More pleased with this than the experience I had at my last LBS. We will purchase from them again.
