Do not use this Contractor. Ori Builders Inc, Ori Builders & Renovations. He is not true to his word, his work site is not safe nor clean, work not to code, he cheaps on materials and workmanship after agreeing a price. We had a contract for $58,000 for kitchen remodeling in a 35 day complete schedule. He said he would provide full time oversight and his workman had worked with him for a long time, but most of the trades who turned up said it was the first time they had worked with him, several said they had not been paid by him, he did not provide full time supervision. He did not provide what was in contract. He walked off the job at least 3 times, became very emotional/irrational and unnecessarily/rudely raised his voice and got agitated at my fiancée. He was paid 65% of the job but only delivered 20-25%. Said the job would be 35 days but after 45 days walked off site. damaged existing backsplash and equipment that didn't need to be touched, so as to increase project scope. Demanded additional payments. We engaged lawyer and issued him a formal letter to return to work, cure the problems, and complete the job. He did not return, nor did he deliver the materials (kitchen sink, fridge, quartzite countertop) we had already paid in full 3 weeks prior, to the site (worth more than $8,000). He fraudulently put a lien on our house. We terminated his contract and will be suing him. We have engaged another contractor who estimated that only about $15 of work had been completed, and that some work was not to code, a lot was not good workmanship, and would need to be ripped out and redone. Never use this contractor. We are seeking full refund, to cover materials paid for and not supplied, delay, remedial work, lawyers fees, fraudulent lien, among other costs

On 9/10/21, I signed a contract with Ori-Builders to totally renovate my guest bathroom at **** **********, ********** TX *****. Due to equipment being in the bathroom at all times, we could not inspect the work closely. On 9/29/21, when they finally moved all equipment from the bathroom, we inspected the work and found the work to be subpar workmanship. Due to all the issues found in the work, we terminated the contract. Total contract $14,900. On 9/14/21, $4900 cashiers check was given to Ori-Builders. On 9/20/21, $7000 was paid by credit card to Ori-Builders. We had to have another company, **********, come in and demolish all work done by Ori-Builders and renovate the bathroom. We are asking for $7000 back from Ori-Builders. Please see attached "**************" for additional details.
