My husband and I walked in the pouring rain at 4 am, couldn't get our phone directions to work or contact greyhound to cancel. I did send an email about canceling. They wouldn't refund our tickets or offer to do anything for me. It's a lot of money to be out. They had no compassion for me and my situation, very bad customer **********************. If that's all heyhound think of customers k will use a different ********************** and tell everyone I come across to also.

Tried to help a disabled elderly woman who was abandoned here in sc by greyhound she was supposed to go to ************* . Customer ********************** refused to help her and left her in the freezing cold. They refused to allow me to speak to their supervisor and ended up hanging up on me. They lied and said they would send a shuttle to pick her up then said that they never said they would.

Paid for a ticket and I went to the station where the buses go but they have no workers. A bus driver told me and other passengers that we couldnt take the bus because of the weather that it was cancelled and greyhound wont return my money and I had to pay for another ticket with ****** just to get home. Ill never use greyhound and that was my first time ever trying to use them.

Things Greyhound makes you do My son has been trying to go to ********** from ********* for about a week now they have canceled like four of his trips due to the weather which I understand is totally not their fault but this last time they let him get on the bus so they could tell him a little ways down the road when at ********** that it's canceled from ********** to ******** and when I called to see what they could do they tell you we can reschedule it for free I'm tired of hearing that because it ain't free I paid $240 for that ticket it's not free then they tell me all the next one will be leaving Saturday at 6:30 p.m. so now you're telling me he has to wait 31 30 something hours before he can get on his next bus to go home what if they cancel that one and she didn't give me no advice no I mean no comp or something it's not his fault that they didn't cancel the trip when he first got on the bus and yes he agreed to take the other bus because it's either take it or be stuck somewhere he don't even know nothing about because we don't put all of our money into the ticket and making sure he gets there safe this was his first trip on the bus and I'm sure he might be having a good time and this and that I don't know all I know is they could have did better than what they did telling me all he can wait at the bus station until his next bus stop that's 30 something hours Date of experience: January 10, 2025 Edit

My luggage was stolen due to the Greyhound bus #***** driver's negligence - he took it out of the baggage storage of the bus prematurely before my stop, and then left it outside without my consent or knowledge. CCTV at the *************** has footage of the bus driver leaving it outside the bus stop, where the luggage was stolen by a stranger 30 minutes later. The luggage contained $2500 worth of items as I stated in my initial report and in my report to the *******************************. I have attached a copy of the police report to this email, and my tickets that prove that I was commuting with no other carrier other than Greyhound. I demand the value of my belongings that were lost due to Greyhound's negligence to be reimbursed immediately. Greyhound also has an untimely response, as the incident occurred on 12/20,/2024 and it is now 1/4/2025.

I purchased a ticket for my son on Dec. 31st, 2024 at 3:30 PM to go from ******** ** to ****** ** on January 5th. Later in the evening, we learned there is a snow/icestorm coming this way from Saturday, January 4th thru Monday Jan 6th. The Greyhound website stated there are no issues changing a ticket up until 15 minutes before a departure. I called back today, January 1st, at 10:00 AM to change his ticket to depart on January 2nd. I saw there was an approximately $20 difference in price....no problem.... the agent changed the ticket and said I had to pay an additional $65 cancellation fee for a total of $83. I explained, I am not canceling only changing the travel date due to winter storm warnings. She insisted I HAD to pay the $65 cancellation fee. So by changing the date a full 5 days in advance of the original travel date, and less than.24 hrs. after my initial purchase, I incurred an additional $65 charge. I will NEVER use Greyhound again & would suggest any buyer BEWARE if you plan to use Greyhound. I would understand if I flat out canceled a trip, but to only change the travel date & be hit with the additional charge is bad business in my opinion. The Greyhound website is extremely misleading.I will tell every person I know personally and thru social media how deceptive Greyhound is.

I bought a ticket and I haven't used it yet all I wanted to do was push the date up early because I had a family emergency pretending to my children and it was the same ticket price and they still charged me an extra hundred and three dollars and some change. They are such a rip off with a hundred and something dollar cancellation fee I will never again mess with Greyhound they are full of s*** They need to do something better about how they handle their customers cuz if I could do a strike on they a** they will be f****** striked on. Sorry a** business

I have taken Greyhound for multiple years to visit family in the next state over, and my bus has never been cancelled until this year when it happened twice in a row.First time occured in Sept. The bus was due to depart at 9:30am and I received the cancellation email at 9am. Unfortunately, that is the ONLY bus that goes to the city I needed to go to, so myself and many others were pretty stuck and couldnt just easily reschedule for a later bus.The second time happened a few days ago in December, when my 9:30am bus was cancelled at 8:30am. Again, no other buses go to my destination city and I had to find another very inconvenient way to visit family for the holidays.I will say that Greyhound refunded both cancelled tickets, which I appreciate. Unfortunately I no longer have any confidence that Greyhound. I don't even trust that I can successfully get home tomorrow by bus.I would encourage anyone that can avoid using Greyhound to do so. They are unreliable and are now moving to doing pickups and dropoffs off the street instead of in a station, which can be unsafe depending on the time and location. I would rather be picked up at the station per usual instead of by a fast food place downtown.

I ordered a ticket for my son thats in college to come home for the holiday and the driver decided to leave early. When I called to complain only people answered are people with real English barriers. There was no kind of communication or compensation for a driver deciding to make his on schedule. Do not use this company! I had no other choice but to leave a star.
