On the date of 8/8/24 I went to Ideal Dental to get a replacement crown after mine cracked. I was charged $482 for the service because it was outside of the warranty. However they based this finding off of the three year filling warranty and not the 5 year crown warranty. Essentially meaning my crown replacement was well within the 5 year warranty. I tried to bring this up to them numerous times and they had not done anything about it. No apology, no credit for future service, no correspondence with my credit card company or anything. Then on Oct. 9th I received a text saying I had an outstanding balance of $21.90 even though I havent been back since August. I would just like a formal apology and to have my balance cleared.

4/2022: Ideal Dental in ***********, ** recommended a deep cleaning. I got a second opinion and decided not to. 5/2022: root canal procedure done 6/2022: pain in the tooth where a root canal was done and permanent crown put on tooth.Shortly after I told them I was having tooth pain. They told me it was normal and the tooth was okay. 1/2023: I went in for x-ray and was told that my tooth was good. 9/2023: I still had pain coming and going and followed up with dentist again. No response.12/2024: tooth is infected and face swollen and had to go to the *** Went to dentist and endodontist specialist. Ideal Dental customer service, manager ****** told me that my bone loss from the root canal was because I didnt listen to them in 4/2022 and get a $700 deep cleaning. I spoke to my endodontist and she said this is not true as bone loss is underneath the root and a deep cleaning would repevent gum disease in which I dont have. Ideal dental is a fraudulent corporation and they have delayed, denied, and are now defending what they did to me which was a botched root canal. If you read their one star ****** reviews they all are similar in that this business charges people unnecessary procedures. I see that that is how theyre so big and they have a dental office in almost every city in *****.

I have visited Ideal dental for years and have always appreciated their service. However, this past year hasnt been good. I went in earlier this year for a cleaning and was explained to have some expensive work needed, but I got it done and paid Ideal in full utilizing FSA/External financing. However, since 10/7/24 I have been receiving an email and text at the same time nearly each week sharing I have a balance due of $3579. I have called and been told that I have this balance for braces (I HAVE NEVER HAD BRACES) and would receive follow-up from the office manager who was shared to be ***** and that has never happened over the course of six phone calls. This last phone call, I spoke with **** who was explained to be the orthodontist manager. He was kind and shared he would consult with his regional manager because this was clearly an error but no feedback has been shared. At this time, I am suffering from extreme mental anguish as these notifications continue to arrive sharing I owe a balance that I do not have. I am on the verge of seeking litigation as it appears no one will help me and wants me to pay a balance for someone else. Throughout this entire process I have felt as if I am lying because no one has shown empathy and just supposedly escalated my concern to their *********** at a place where I want my services refunded for my actual recent dental work because I have to visit here every six months to have my warranty and I dont feel comfortable visiting this company anymore with how I have been treated. This $3,579 is not my balance.

Ideal Dental uses a company called, Healthcare Finance Direct for their ortodontic financial service. Jasmine the person the sets up the ortodontist plan for my child, made the entire contract out in my childs name which he is a minor. The finance company is taking money out of my account even though the contract is my sons name, which he is a minor. My name ***** ***** is not on the contract but the Finance companny is still taking money from my account and refuses to put the money back into my account. I spoke to jasmine on the phone on Sept 9th she said the contract is void because my son ***** is a minor and the she put the contract in his name. The finance said lets wait till ***** turns 18 on oct 29th then the contract is in his name. I said absoutley not this is illegal what you are doing and I demand this contract be void null immediately, I want that voided contract sent to me overnight, Im still getting the run around from then dentist and the finance company. The total is close to $900 so far.

March 13, 2023, I went to Ideal Dental in ******. They sold me on doing work that turned out to be unnecessary work. It cost me $12,000 and left me in much worse shape. The dentist I saw quit before everything was finished. She did come back for a final visit. My bite is way off and one new tooth already has a chunk broken off of it. My teeth don't match up right. I'm miserable. They sold me a bill of goods and the work was substandard. They were only after my money. I filed a claim with the ***** Dental Board.

My 89 year old father had a tooth extracted and was asked to sign a proposed treatment plan that indicated the cost to him would be $100. The tooth was extracted on September 19, 2023 and he paid $100. Then he got a bill for $146. The insurance did not cover the item D7311 Alveoloplasty. The dentist never did alveoloplasty (bone smoothing), he just grabbed the tooth and pulled it out. That's it! I asked why my father was being charged for something that was not done. The office manager then lied to me and told me the insurance did not cover the extraction. The explanation of benefits clearly shows the extraction was covered and Humana paid $199. This company is practicing deceptive insurance billing. Deceptive insurance billing results in higher costs for patients and less effective treatments. RUN from this company!!!

This company is fraudulently billing insurance providers and patients for the same items. My son came in for an initial visit and was advised that there were multiple cavities that needed to be filled. They advised me that they needed me to pay up front which was no problem. They were unable to complete two of the fillings. I requested a refund for the fillings they couldnt do and an itemized receipt so I could be reimbursed for the other charges. The receipt they provided was rejected by my company. And they told me they could not refund me for the teeth they were unable to fill until the claim had been paid by my insurance. After the claim was paid they sent me a new receipt. I reviewed it and noticed that (1) they charged me and my insurance provider for the same items and collected money from both of us, (2) they still billed my insurance for fillings that couldnt not be completed. I went to yelp and it appears this is not the first time a customer has complained about these same issues. They need to refund me for items that were covered and paid for by my insurance and secondly they need to refund my insurance for filling that they didn't do. Beware - if they are fraudulent with billing are they even truthful about the services that we need, meaning did my son really have all those cavities? I want to see the x rays. Date of Service 8/10/2023 Patient E ****** Attempt to resolve-I sent them an email and I want to see the xrays Acct - ***** *** Spent - $277.40

When I first visited Ideal Dental in April 2021, I needed help with a tooth but I could not afford to have the service at that time. The folks there arranged for me to pay 40% of it & pay out the ******** appreciated this. We discussed an implant to replace the missing tooth. I could not afford it but they worked with me to let me pay $250 per month until I had a 60% down payment & then I could have the work done. Aug **** I began asking about when I could have this work done---& got conflicting stories but a promise of maybe October. Nothing happened. December, *********** was assured we could get me in in January 2023. Nothing. I was alarmed when I pulled my bank's listing of the money deposited with Ideal Dental,Tarrant Pkwy, They were avoiding me & giving me the run around. March, 2023, I told them to stop taking money from my account until I had my tooth taken care of & an accounting of my funds. They stopped taking the money from my bank but refused to respond to my numerous requests for an accounting of funds. Three requests to have my money back. Nothing. I found an address for Ideal Dental Headquarters & wrote them on 4/18/2023. Those people notified me that I needed to contact Decal Dental dba Ideal Dental & gave the ** address. I sent a complete listing of the money paid in & from where on 4/25/23 & asked for an accounting and return of my funds. Wed 5/3/23 I called Decca Dental & gave my phone no & again requested an accounting & return of my funds. As of 5/13/23, they still have my money & did not contact me. BCBS - $57; BCBS Wellness - $390; EECU $1855 (expenses already removed); I know I am owed $2,302; I want an accounting of my ********* want my money back. Two dental Ins paid them but I have no record.because Ideal Dental does not provide you with an invoice of any kind. I want my money back right away. I do not understand why they are denying me my money. I may have more than $2,302 coming to me and hiding from me. I want my money..
