Flooring Direct service has been excellent. The installers were prompt, professional and installed my 400 square foot living/dining area in a day. The floor looks beautiful especially the transition piece in front of the sliding glass doors. Highly recommend them!

When the engineered hardwood choices did not fit our color scheme, we went with another company. I gave them a 3 because their representative was rude and hung up on me when we told him we'd gone another way.

Flooring Direct put my floors in 2020 and since then it has been NOTHING but problems.The 1st floorboards were popping up and when someone came out to fix them they blamed it on the material. After that crew left we noticed gaps between the baseboards and the floor and other inconsistencies throughout the house.When an inspector came out to look at it he said the floor was not installed correctly because they did not level the slab under the floor.Once our floors were done for a 3rd time we started to notice an issue of 2 floorboards popping up, only in 1 spot.When the inspector came out with a floor installer, they pulled up floor boards and we noticed there was moisture only under one section of the floorboards.The moisture was not coming from any water areas, nor do we have any drainage running under that section of the house. The inspector left after INSISTING it was a drainage issue, the installer then started speaking with us about the floor primer and how it would be an easy fix if there wasnt any leaks.My thought was the moisture was from the popped up floor boards, allowing moisture to get in. The inspector insisted that was not the case. Flooring direct recommended we hire a plumber to ensure any leaks. We had no problem doing this because we were also curious. The very reputable plumber cleared us of any leaks or drainage issues, we paid over $150 for this inspection. He also suggested it was vapor and recommended a primer for the floor. When the inspector came back after we told him about the plumber clearing us, he insisted it was still a drainage issue. He said he wanted to hire his own inspector or plumber. He also said that the primer was very expensive, and we paid for the floor and NOT the sub floor. It is now over a week later, and no one has returned our calls or gave us an answer.Our floor is torn apart and is showing exposed concrete.I wont even get started with how messed up our base boards are from having our floor torn up so many times.
