    8/15/2022 I received the email from Geek Squad stating Order Date: Monday, August 15, 2022 - Order ID: SNPH-HUATV-SBKWU Hello ******** ************ This is an invoice for your recent purchase from Geek Squad This purchase details will appear on your bank account in 2-3 business days. An email of confirmation will be sent shortly Invoice Details Order Date: August XX XXXX Transaction ID: ********YXXXXXMT Total Amount Charged : USD 372.45 Important Update: You have only 16 hours for amend this order, for any changed or special request please call right now at (855) 482-3599. I have no idea who this company is. The only computer I have is my work computer. I made 2 calls and was disconnected each time without any satisfaction. I need to make sure no funds are removed from my account as I have had to dispute fraudulent charges in the past month from scammers. Enough is Enough and I cannot go through this non sense any longer.

    WAS having difficulty connecting to my Alexa device after a new router was installed. Alexa screen popped up saying do you need assist, I said yes. She said she would have a tech call me. I got a call on July 22, 2022 from "John". He ran me through a bunch of stuff with Alexa and then asked to screen share my computer when unsuccessful. He pointed out 2 (trojan horses), and said I had 48 unauthorized connections to my computer causing the breech. He said I needed firwall protection which he sold to me for 3 years for $249.99. I spoke to my internet provider about this and if this could be related to the new router, he assured me the whole thing sounded fishy. I tried calling the number they gave me, his personal 24/7 number and the number conncected to the bill on my credit card and there is no answer at any of the 3 numbers. I am contacting my credit card now to report the fraudulent transaction. Strangely enough though, they did get my alexa connected but was very mean about it.

    Complaint about Geekz online store Dallas Tx. Same as many complaints on here when connecting to an Alexa unit. Asked for help connecting the unit which really did not need any help and was told I could not because my computer was full of viruses. After taking over my computer he managed to talk this 88 year old into purchasing a 3 year protection plan so that Alexa will work. Dumbbell. My WiFi has bee working fine for years. Now I have $394.00 to pay off and there is no way to contact him again. Alexa works fine, but I could have done that myself. I notified Visa with a call and a letter but waiting for any help.
