They put an account into collections without ever sending a bill or communicating in ANY way. I sent a communication to the collection company disputing the collection on the basis of debt validation. I specifically stated that I had NOT received anything from the original creditor. Miraculously, I received an itemized bill within a week from the original creditor. The company is shady (which you can tell from all the complaints). I just want you to be aware of the predatory and unethical way they do business. ALWAYS send a debt validation request if you get a collection for medical bills.

My wife, ********* ******** had a chest x-ray at ********************* on 3/4/24. We received a statement of benefits (SOB) from our health insurance which showed we owed $2.84 for this service. American Radiology Consultants turned in a claim for collection with *************************** for $46.00. This is not the amount that our insurance showed us owing. We never received any bills from American Radiology Consultants nor phone calls prior to being turned over to collections. We didnt receive any emails or letters attempting to collect the money owed.We paid the $2.84 to the collection agency and request that any negative impact to our credit be reversed. We have always paid our medical bills on time when we receive statements showing an amount owed.

I paid $1,500 on the day of my MRI on January 3rd then after insurance processed I paid my balance due of $299.32 on April 3. I am receiving letters that I owe $35 but have no record of that charge in my health portal and have not received any written explanation of what the charge is for. I have paid off my balance and want this removed from my credit report and to stop receiving letters. I can provide my statement of proof.

I was put into collections for a very low amount of $106.00. I've never received any type of bill from them. I would have taken care of that whether it was a payment in full or set up payments. When I saw it was in collections I kept looking for a way to pay this & there wasn't any phone number or address for me to pay it.

In September I underwent a diagnostic mammogram and US on the left breast at ***********. At the time, I paid $347.52 pre-payment for my diagnostic mammogram and US (see photo from HSA below). In October, I saw a bill on my account asking for $281.06. In December, I was told I had a deficit of $956.93 for this same procedure, which I paid. Today (1/23/23) I received a letter dated 1/10 stating that I was sent to collections due to an amount of $148.52 which I was never notified about. Note letter stating 2nd notice? There have been multiple complaints to this company about this issue of not being notified.

I had an CT Scan at Texas Oncology. I was billed by American Radiology Consultants. Upon receiving the bill, I contacted their billing department and notified them that my insurance said that I do no owe any out of pocket expenses. I emailed the EOB to them and assumed that this matter had been corrected. However, today in teh mail, I receive an bill from a debt collector for this matter. This is the 2nd time this has happened.

I had Service on 5-24-21- i provided my Insurance Card and Drivers License, my Insurance had 100% Coverage, no co pay ect. On 02-07-22 i received a Letter from RMG Collections trying to collect a 208$ Amount.(Will attached Copy) I contacted my Insurance and they ensured that the Invoice was paid and the Amount they try to collect is the negotiated Discount Amount between Provider and Insurance and that they should not do that(Will provide Copy of Email).I contacted ARC multiple times to obtain a correct Invoice which i never received, just a Blank Statement of Due Account(Will provide a Copy of Correspondence). I have Contacted my Insurance again and sent email correspondence from Insurance to Email of ARC, i have never heard back after that, now today 10-16-2022 i received a notification from Trans Union that a Collection was placed on my Credit Score which caused my Score to Drop dramatic, and this will Impact Car Insurance premiums and future Credit needs.

I received care from American Radiology Consultants in May 2022. I called them on 6/21/2022 to ask about the cost, and I was told that the service had no cost to me. Now in August 2022, I received a letter from a debt collector trying to collect $114.61 for this service. I called the debt collector to dispute the debt, and they suggested I also call American Radiology Consultants to inquire about the supposed balance. I called American Radiology Consultants and the person I spoke to did see that I had called them on 6/21/22, and he did say that the calls were recorded. After repeatedly telling him that I would not be paying any supposed balance since I was specifically told the service had no cost to me, he didn't care. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he refused to transfer me. After repeated prodding, he finally agreed to listen to my recorded phone conversation from 6/21/22, which would show that I was told I had no cost out of pocket for my service. Upon putting me on hold, he hung up. I believe they are trying to avoid talking to me in an effort to get me to pay for a debt that I don't owe.
