I ordered a meal on 5/26/24 at the McAlister's Deli, ***************************************. Order #***** at `1:12 PM. I went through the steps to pay by credit card, adding a $1 tip. The crew member said that it didn't go through. I said, "Are you sure?" She again said, "It didn't go through." I gave her a $20 bill and it took her some time to give me cash back which was for the amount that included that $1 tip which puzzled me. I thought, "Are they adding tips to cash payments now?" I went to my table and got on my phone to check my credit card charges and there was the charge from McAlister's Deli "pending". I talked to the manager and showed him my phone. He said because it said pending, "He couldn't do anything about it yet." I was eating with 6 other friends so didn't want to get confrontational, but I wish he had asked to see my receipt. When I got home, I looked at my receipt closely. It stated "Discover" next to the payment of $15.62 and at the bottom of the receipt was "Cash $20 Change $20." That's why it took her so long to make change. She was doing it in her head. Because I'm a Rewards Member, I got an email asking about my visit. I put all this information in the survey response. I got a call from the manager the next morning (6/5/24), and he apologized for the foul up and it would be taken care of it after the "pending" amount was official. Nothing has happened. I've called two more times, only to find out that the store manager is not there anymore but was told the new manager will take care of it. They have my name and phone number. I keep checking my credit card activities and $15.62 has not been credited. I don't live near this location and fear that I'll drive all the way and the person who can take care of it will not be there to do so. My receipt is fading but I have a picture of it on my phone. For now, that meal cost me double - $15.62 x 2 = $31.24 for a meal that was really $14.62 before the $1 tip.Initial Complaint

I ordered a chefs salad from my local McAllisters Deli which would be at Trinity and ********** in *******,** on 8/8/2023. Per picture from menu and a previous order I had made, the salad looked roughly like it was pictured. I ordered again and mostly the salad was lettuce, croutons a small amount of tomatoes and cucumbers. I had to dig for the meat which was almost nonexistent. I called the store and the manager wanted to say the salad was weighed and I could bring it back and they could take off some of the lettuce, but it will still be the same. She then proceeded to blame new employees when I stated the last salad I received was more inline with my expectations.Now, I door dashed as I have COVID. The cost of the salad plus delivery fee and tip was $23.25. Way too much to spend on a bag of lettuce. The manager was unhelpful and did not address my concerns. The ******* location is consistently inconsistent. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst, hope for average. It's always wrong or poorly done. We filled a complaint with the store, after 3 or 4 or 5 times of incorrect orders, poorly prepared orders or bad attitudes. Today we got a nice little postcard with zero words on it. Blank but for the pre-printed words. It literally says, we're sorry for: empty space.Please accept this' empty space Say you don't give a f&$# about your customers with fewer words...I dare you.Initial Complaint

I placed an order at the McAlister's Deli at ********************************************. This order took 50 minutes for the staff to make the two sandwiches on our order, and my sandwich was made incorrectly. Staff was difficult to get ahold of. I do not have a receipt for my order. 06-07-2023 #**.00 cost of order area is ****************** problem-- I ordered the ********* club sandwich. i was to get a side with the sandwich and i was told to get any of the sides. I picked the side salad. i went and sat down and when I got home my wife showed me the receipt were the man charged me $4.99 for my salad he did not give me a side with my order I had to pay what the side did cost.. The salad was on the side list and he did not tell me i had to get something else. Nor did he tell me which sides I had to choose one out of. I felt you cheat customers out of their money by saying you get a side with the clubs and then charge them. The least you could do is tell your staff to tell them that you only have a choose of this or that side. I deserve and explanation and a coupon for my loss.Initial Complaint

I was hired at McAlister's Deli in Columbus, GA and started work August 26, 2022. I was advised I would be paid via direct deposit on September 9, 2022, and I confirmed this multiple times with the other employees and two members of management, Nick H*** and Terrence J****. I originally reached out to Terrence because I was not paid at all and he advised he would notify Nick since he was the one in charge of payroll, and he never did reach out to him, I had to do it myself. Today is September 12, 2022 and I have yet to receive my pay or any type of follow up from management about it. After enduring an increasingly hostile work environment, I decided to quit on September 10, 2022. I have experienced bullying and made to feel uncomfortable especially by a member of management named Emily, someone I had never met prior to that day. She started to make negative nasty comments about me to other employees when I advised I would not be able to simply go home early and that I have spent the last 2 days at home because of their lack of being properly prepared for customers or the lack thereof. She then thought it necessary to make comments about me and my mother as I advised she would take issue with the scheduling and how I'm being treated. My mother ultimately came up to the restaurant and simply asked for the best way to contact Nick, who was supposed to be handling my payroll situation and instead of being a mature adult, Emily began to yell at me and my mother in front of staff and customers. The situation did escalate and I have additional evidence of that as well. I am a minor and there's no reason for an adult who is also a member of management to behave that way. I have attached screenshots of me inquiring about my check in the unauthorized chat app because they do not use any professional means of communication and as it stands, I have yet to be paid nor has Nick H*** bothered to follow up and provide the status of my funds. St.louis, Mo..Bridgeton location...0 stars!!! This was disgusting, and terrible!!! I placed an online order on X-XX-XX at around 4:20 pm.... I ordered $53.00 worth of food...which included 2 salads!!!. When I got there around 4:58 as I was told the side door was locked! I go around to the front it was also locked!!! I go back to the side and finally someone notices me and lets me in..I also was calling in the mean time and no answer! Soon as I was let in at 5:05pm! The lady says we not taking orders!!! I explained I placed an online order at 4:20...they then tell me there are no salads...at this point I'm extremely upset! I ask for a refund and they ALL looked ******* To keep the peace I opted for two large cups of soup instead.... While trying to still get my order together two other customers were banging on the door to get in! While they finally let them in, the worker proceeds to say we are closed!!! It was not even 5:30 yet! When I received my food the sandwiches was all sloppy ....I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED AMD ANGRY!! this is the worse service I have ever dealt with and I honestly deserve all my hard earned money back! This location needs to be shut down or a new team needs to come in!! There is much more I could say and that's the sad part! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
