The credit union authorized their recovery firm to deliberately damage my vehicle during the process of recovery of my vehicle. Also, the recovery firm did not return all of my personal property that was in the vehicle during the recovery of the vehicle. Please refer to the related documents, correspondences, photos, etc. that were submitted to the credit union.

This dispute has already been addressed by regulators, and legal counsel.  We will not respond as directed by our attorney to avoid further litigation.

I stand by the facts and photographic evidence and documents as provided in my complaint. The Credit Union did not conduct or authorize an independent thorough investigation into how this recovery process was conducted and mishandled. Especially, including the extensive damage deliberately done to the vehicle, as well as not returning all of my missing personal property that was in my vehicle. The Regulators did not substantiate the credit union's proper handling of this matter. The Texas Credit Union Department actually referred me to the BBB and the Attorney General's of *********************************** in order to file the appropriate complaints.

I received hail damage to my truck on 01/24/2024, my insurance company sent me a check along with a detailed breakdown of the damage and repairs they would pay for. DATCU refused to endorse the check and mail it back; they stated they would use it towards the loan payment. First: Im two months ahead on my loan payments. Second: I explained the check needed to be endorsed and mailed to the collision repair company like the check was intended for. The collision repair company ****************** ******, **) has made numerous calls to DATCU since 04/10/24 to have the insurance repair check mailed to them, they also faxed over a copy listing all repairs they made. I just stopped by the repair company and we called them together and DATCU claims they mailed a check directly to me last week; which is a complete lie; please see the date and time on the pictures Ive attached. I just checked my account and the insurance money is in fact still sitting in my savings account. The collision repair company needs the money in order to release my truck back to me. This credit union has very unethical business practices.

On October 16, 2023 I filled out an application online to open a checking account. I did not request any type of overdraft protection or line of credit. A hard pull inquiry was made to my credit. Why a hard pull instead of a soft pull? A hard pull is used for opening a credit account which I did not. There is not reason to do a hard pull when a line of credit is not applied for. There is also no disclosure that a hard credit inquiry will be made only "We will use the information you provide to verify your identity, authenticating it against information contained in your credit file with a Credit Bureau. We will also use your information to verify that your application qualifies for membership by using the ChexSystems database. If we determine that you do not satisfy one or more of these requirements, you will be unable to complete your application." A hard pull affects credit and is not needed when not applying for a line of credit and a soft pull would verify identity. I have never had a hard pull for opening a checking account and conducted business with many financial institutions. I have excellent credit and work hard to keep it that way. I canceled my application for a checking account and will take my business elsewhere.

On today I contacted datcu after attempting to make a payment on their website and mobile app for tomorrow and due to it not being a business day it won't allow a payment. I understand the holiday and business days but as a consumer I should be able to make a payment any day. This company is cheating customers and charging extra interest because they don't want to accept payments on certain days. This is unfair to consumers and this need to be looked into for best practices because this is fraud.

They charged me with overdraft fees after I asked multiple times to stop overdraft protection, also they charged me without actually paying funds to the company trying to collect the debt. This all happened because I tried to change my bank account with ****** from Datcu to **************** but the charges kept coming into my old account which had little money in it, and I thought I had canceled overdraft protection (I had asked numerous times). I did not realize I was being charged until I saw the email from ****** about the debits being rejected. The fees total $256.

I'm having an issue with DATCU bank. They are trying to extort money from me. On 1/25 I had a balance due of roughly 524.00. I made a payment of 262.00, instead of crediting me for my payment they charged me again then they sent some person to my house to harass me. They call me non stop affecting my work. I've asked via there message system to an exact accounting why instead of subtracting they added to my balance. I get crickets. This bank is a fraud.
