We had a pool built by Outdoor Living Pool and Patio in 2022 and we have had nothing but problems and terrible communication the entire time. Multiple meetings with ****** (sales consultant), ***** (project manager), ***** (the owner) and eventually Collie, not a single one of them would follow through with anything that they said they would do. We have every email, text and phone call logged. After the pool was completed we started filling it with water and noticed lots of calcium buildup on the tile wall immediately, ***** was taking care of all of the chemicals at this point and said it would be cleaned once everything was balanced. It was never removed after asking multiple times. We have a very reputable pool care company taking care of our pool and they told us it was never sealed. They/we have worked very hard to remove the calcium and it will not come off, the tile is ruined. The travertine coping had pieces filled in with a putty that eventually (6m -1yr) broke off and is now sharp around the tanning ledge. Our concrete decking looks terrible, it has cracked so bad that it has now busted a pipe, causing our pool to leak. We reported the cracking 6 months after the pool was built and they told us it was ground movement bc that is not covered under warranty. We have a hard time believing its ground movement considering we had a separate deck poured by another company and it looks great, not a single crack anywhere. We are missing a valve that separates the bubblers and waterfalls. Again, no one will come install it after asking for months/years. The owner has admitted these items should be fixed/added/repaired but nothing has been done. After contacting a lawyer, ironically the company name is not the name on file with the state, meaning, the company does this to hide any pending litigation. Through this legal process we have found others in the same situation. Sadly due to the mediation clause in the contract, the findings will never be made public.

Warning to all DFW homeowners looking to install a pool, patio and want a professional, courteous, customer focused, well supported, functioning and warrantied pools, do yourself a favor, save the headache and DO NOT use Outdoor Living & Patio. Project Manager was overloaded and no PM skills. Poorly managed from end to end. They tried to install cheap tile and not the travertine we ordered, the 'colored' plaster looks 10 years old (it's been a year). LED lights didn't not work properly until 6/10/22 because the owner didn't believe me after 7 un-responded warranty tickets. They say they call with no missed calls or voicemail. Post so called 'completion' "Pool School" is designed to teach you how to work your brand new system, no instructions, no pamphlet, email or site to refer back to. This is used as a 'we told you this in pool school to They install an in floor return system with pop up floor heads that the cleaner breaks when it s over them. The response that I received was 'the recommended cleaner is the 3900 and not the one I have, So why did they not use a recommended cleaner with your system and now they want me to pay for it? Contracted for 2 independent lined and valved skimmers, finding out, one is lined and the other is Venturi. While the website will sell you in its warranty, there is no back up, guarantee or proof that they have to, or will honor it. Even with proof (pic,video, in person) it's either an excuse or reason that the customer is WRONG.

HORRIBLE! I've never seen such irresponsibility and lack of integrity in a company. Despite the smile, their salesmen don't appear to have the capability to support their commitments. I showed our salesman the dishonest of his company, yet he continues to feed them unsuspecting customers, so that tells you everything you need to know. The owners showed me nothing but incapability and lack of integrity over the 11 month project that was supposed to be 4 months. The site foreman left the company 3 months in, but I didn't find that out until a few month's of unaddressed errors later. They didn't even poor the pool straight! Do yourself a favor and avoid this company. They're dishonest, unaccountable and unprofessional.
