I was forced to prepay for my vehicle getting fixed at the location (parts and labor included in every tansaction)Originally it was for the instrument cluster. I paid on the spot before the parts were even ordered. next, I was called in and told that not only did I have to pay for the set up but they did this by calling land rover to program the cluster from afar (which i had no knowledge would be done). I came into the shop and he explained to me that they had to charge me an extra 1500 for the programming fee. I told him i did not want the programming fee because i was not told before hand. ************************* then told me that I had to pay because he came out of pocket for the fee. Next he said that a new fuse box would need to be installed so instead of fighting I paid for the amount that he gave me with the threat that my vehicle could be held for me not paying for the programming fee. After 3 months!!!!!!!.....The part for the fuse box never arrived and I came up on orders to move to another state so I opted into picking up my car and receiving the refund. When I went to pick my car up in May 2023, the brand new cluster was not installed, my vehicle was riddled with dust and there was pet hair and pee all on my mats. Also, the part for the fuse box had not arrived so I asked for a refund after months and months of waiting for the fuse box to arrive. ************************* came outside and handed me the new cluster in a box. ************************* told me that my refund was processing however i never received it. I went to *** for the payment but because of the back and forth, i allowed the case to be dismissed as i was being deployed in the military. DO NOT SELL MY INFORMATION

i had a vehicle that needed work took them the vehicle on October 25th and confirmed all paperwork and permission to work on the vehicle on November 1st they told me the part was on back order and it would get there in 2 weeks when the 2 weeks past they kept telling me it was on the way . i then decided to send it to the other shop they had and when i spoke with the front desk lady she had told that the part was never placed on order and the ordered was recently placed . i then asked for a discount or how they can make it fair and they told me theres nothing they can do . the vehicle has been there 2 months and is barely gonna be done on January 9th .

Customer took 16 days out of the time the vehicle was here to approve repairs and submit payment for a deposit. Customer was advised that part was on a national back order. Customer was offered a 10% off labor, and a parts discount. However this has since been rescinded. Customer is in breach of contract by not contacting an arbitrator first. There fore will receive a lawsuit

On Sept. 22, 23, I paid $3090.53 to Total Auto Repair located at **************************************** to have a groaning noise that my car is making in the front under carriage detected and repaired along with the installation of other parts in my suspension system. The noise is still there and certain parts were not installed that shouldve been i.e. grease fittings, ****** pins to prevent castle nuts from loosening while driving, and heat ******* to prevent damage to spark plug wires (the heat ******* were on my car when I took it to them and they didnt put them on the new wires that they installed). I had a different auto shop hear the groaning noise and I was told it was more than likely coming from the steering rack of which Total Auto Repair supposedly installed A NEW RACK AND PUNION ASSEMBLY and charged me almost $1000 for it. They did not repair my car nor replace the aforementioned parts after having had my car in their possession for 5 WEEKS. The owner, *************************, would not return my phone calls regarding the status of my car and in the 5th week of them having my car I called once again and spoke to a man named **** and was told that my car was ready. I picked it up, got it home, and was flabergasted when I noticed that it was NOT ready and the parts they were supposed to install were not installed after all that time. I want the groanong noise remedied and I want the aforementioned parts installed as ************************* told me in person they would be. My invoice was sent to me in the form of a text message whic I still have. No paper was use, all electronic.

On Thursday Oct 13th, 2022, my car broke down on my way to work. Being that I had already taken my vehicle to total auto repair earlier in the year I called the owner ************************* to see if I would be able to bring my car in to his shop to see what is wrong with it. *******, stated yes to go ahead and bring it in, and they would take a look to see whats going on. I had my car Towed by AD Wrecker to Total Auto Repair at ***************************************** ***** on Oct 13th, 2022. When we arrived at total auto repair, I meet with the owner ************************* who stated at the time he would give me the diagnostic the next day. On Friday Oct 18th ******* stated that the Manifold needed to be replaced. On Tuesday Oct 25th, 2022, I called ******* to request an update on my car. He stated that they have ran into another issue with the car, but the manifold was completed. He stated the left side didn't want to work so they didn't want to test drive it or give it back like that. I called my father to give him an update, and he called *******. ******* advised my father that the piston was no longer and that I would need a new engine. He also advised him that he can order a new engine from ******* and the cost for that would be $10,685.90 which would require for us to put down a $7,000 down payment and the engine would be in, in about 3-4 weeks. My Father and I discussed this further and decided since I will still be station at ************** for a few more years I will need a car to get to and from work, go get groceries, and just to get around in general. I did not want to get into a monthly payment on a new car so we decided it would be best to purchase a new engine for my car. We called ******* on Oct 27th,2022 and told him we would like to give him the down payment towards the engine, and he stated the remaining $4,000 would be due once car is complete. ******* did have to make 2 transactions do to 2 different payments. We asked him when he would be ordering the engine and he stated immediately since we just gave him the down payment. We asked for him to please send us a copy of the purchase receipt or some type of confirmation and he stated ok, I will make sure to give it to you. To this date He has yet to provide me with any proof that he purchase the engine.

Engine was ordered from ******* and lost in transit, spoke to customer and he wanted to speak to lawyer and to stop the work when other options where presented. Told customer at this point to have all communication sent through a lawyer. Customer signed an agreement that all deposits are non refundable. Sent a copy of this to his lawyer and him, have not heard back from them since.

I am rejecting this response because: This is false. *******, has failed to provide proof of any invoice as far as the engine being ordered. Myself and my judge advocate have asked ******* numerous times to provide proof of the engine being purchased in ******* as well as proof of any parts being ordered and work that has been done to my car and he has failed to do so. I never signed an agreement stating that all deposits are non refundable. My judge advocate and myself have asked for this proof and this as well he has failed to provide. On my initial complaint to the BBB, I uploaded eight pictures of which you will see I have requested for him to provide me proof of all invoices including this signed agreement. You will also see

As you can see i sent him this information on April 11th and again on may 22nd. ************** has blocked my number as i tried to send it to him via text on our shop phone number. In the ************** i do not have to provide an invoice to the customer from where i purchased the engine. I purchased the engine and it got lost at sea, i cannot control this and i had offered to refund him some of the funds minus what we already did to his vehicle, however he came in screaming at my staff and i had to call the cops. Because of this the refund was denied. His vehicle was offered to him and he rejected it. His vehicle has been at my shop for over 89 days and normally we charge a storage fee of $50 a day. He can come get his car with a police officer ******** But he will not receive any refund.

My spouse's ****************************************************** early October 2022. Within the first week of October, I made the deposit of $3,800 for which they gave the promise to have the truck completed before Christmas 2022. It is still not complete. They are unable to give me the status of the work. They keep saying they will follow up but never do. The consequence of this is having to hold onto another vehicle that needs to be sold. It is depreciating in value, so we are losing a great number of potential funds. I am also losing money by having to keep an extra vehicle insured.I need this vehicle fixed as soon as possible so I can stop hemorrhaging money. As far as I know, they have made no progress since the day we brought it in.

On 10/23/2021 I dropped my vehicle off with *******, and was told it would take 2 weeks to complete removing my engine, rebuild it, and put it back together so I can drive away in my car with a freshly rebuilt engine under warranty by his shop. I fully paid my invoice, the outstanding balance shown on the invoice was originally $520.00 as requested by him to be left for the cost of the tune, which would've been the final transaction before I took the car home, this increased to $1,100.36, I was told this was due to an increase in hourly rate and that my invoice would be adjusted to show the $520.00 I actually owed, which was never done. The tune was never done, as the motor was never completed, so I never was obligated to pay the $520.00 which I did not, I did pay for everything else for the record. 6 months later, I had enough and went to pick up my car after countless false promises of when it would be done, the engine had been assembled as a long block, but nothing more, and was still out of the car, no work done to the chassis (electrical, prep to *********** in it). There were tons of paid for parts that were missing when I came to pick it up (he was aware I was coming to pick it up well beforehand), and I was told the remaining parts I had paid for were at his house and that he would bring them to the shop in the near future for me to pick up. Never heard from him, so at this point he has somewhere around $2,800 in parts I've paid for that have not been given back to me. He is not answering my calls, texts, anything. Not sure if the parts are even at his house, shop, or if he has them at all. My bigger concern is cost of undone labor, after 6 months the job was only 40-45% completed, yet I had paid for 100% of parts and labor, no refund or any sort of attempted compensation, not even an apology. Essentially, I have been charged almost $12,000.00 and did not receive what I paid for including parts and labor, and 6 months of my time have been wasted.

Building a vehicle for performance purposes takes time. You switched the build around several times and with the shortage of parts and sending the engine to the machine shop it did take a little longer than expected. We did advise you of the shipping and back order times as well as how long the engine was at the machine shop. I explained to you issues with the vehicle could and would pop up once we started to install the engine. The vehicles engine harness was ready to be tucked as you requested. Your fuel system was ready to be built. Neither your harness nor fuel system can be fully installed until the engine is in the vehicle. We were ready to put in your engine, but you grew a little impatient and wanted us to return the vehicle to you, which we did when you wanted it. When you picked up the vehicle you did not voice any concerns. All parts purchased (and parts that were given to you free of cost) where returned. Your only atempt to contact me was on easter sunday with i was at church. You began to call me non stop for an hour, show up unanounced at my home and scared my wife. Up until the point when you went to my house you did not atempt to call or text me. As i told you in the begining all deposits and payments are non refundable. Had you contacted us during regular business hours he would have happly come to a resolution.
