Date of visit was October 24th, 2024 at around 3:30 pm. I went in looking for a white wedding dress. Tried on all the options available to me. Fitting room was not well lit. I decided to purchase the dress I liked. Once I got home I tried this dress on in a well lit area. When I did that I saw the seams messed up on both sides in multiple places. It was not able to be seen from trying on distance due to how the fabric was ruffled. This was a full priced item. It should have been on the clearance rack along with a disclosure to its flaws. This company told me it is all sales final. I was under them impression that it only applied to clearance item since every place that I know of has that policy. I also did not see that statement posted near the credit card reader. It was not in the condition that it was advertised. It was new with tags. As a business owner myself New With Tags items mean no flaws and that the item is in perfect condition unless otherwise stated. This item was also grabbed off of one of the clearance racks only for me to be charged full price. I could have gotten over that had it not been for all the holes in the dress. They were not seen on first glance as they were on the sides and back of the dress. When trying on clothes you usually only see the front part of it not the back. It was not like I was buying from a thrift store. This is a boutique style business. I should have been told while shopping to look the items over carefully for flaws. I wasnt told no returns until activity checking out. It was too late at that point. I believe this is bad business to sell flawed items to customers and not offer returns for items that now have to be thrown out due to flaws. New items should always be gone over by employees before putting on the sales floor. All major companies that I have worked for all get inspected for flaws before being put out. I feel this company does this on purpose to scam people and not allow returns for flawed items.
