            "The Children's Garden DaySchool", owner ***** steals money from people, my daughter was there only one hour, first day of school (november 3rd, 2022), and she stole from ** enrollment fee ($300) plus one month we paid ahead ($390), because she made us paid ahead 1 month plus the current enrollment month, she returned my daughter the first day of school (within the first hour), because light running nose, we took her to the pediatrician 2 days later as a follow visit, since she already had the first visit 1 week earlier, we had a doctor's release, even though Miss ***** didn't accept her.We decided to withdraw my daughter because of her strict policies were not going to work for us, even though in her policy was stated that with a doctor's release note she would be able to return to school, she didn't accept her.The refund money was for less than 2 weeks ($387.00), neither money from enrollment fee and 1 full month we paid ahead.We want the refund for the enrollment fee $300, plus the full month we paid ahead ($390) which total $690.00.

            Good afternoon

             

             

             

            Our school was contacted inquiring if we had an opening. Our procedure is to first provide prospective families with all paperwork, policy manual, contracts, etc. so they may review and determine if we are a good fit, with philosophies aligned. This process typically takes 3- 7 days. Next an in person interview Is arranged.

             

            All above listed documentes were sent via email along with 4 school video tours. Within 20 minutes the parent replied they were interested. Next an in person tour was set up to see the school and clarify any further questions. The parent cancelled stating they were out of town and wanted to procede with enrollment.  

             

            On the first day of school, the child presented with a congested cough and pulled down her mask, blew her nose w/o a kleenex. Thick green mucus was hanging down her face past her chin. The child was cleaned up, seperated from others and parent contacted. At pick up protocol was reviewed. Illness protocol is also in enrollment packet and posted clearly on the Parent Sign-In Table. Parent agreed at that time. The parent was contacted a few days later to check on child. Guidance was given at that time for necessary testing/documents to return to school. All conversations from this process were in text and attached. Signed contracts are attached agreeing to comply with policies, and stating an understanding of tuition policies. We are a school with an annual tuition. We are not a daycare offering daily/monthly attendance costs. This was explained extensively.  

             

             

            Mother stated our policies would not work for them and wanted to withdrawl from our school.

             I am rejecting this response because:

            We didn't agree that 1 month of paid ************* was not going to be refunded. 
            It was not clear, we never understood why we had to pay ahead 1 moth of school, 
            even though we decided to pay.  We want our paid 1 ahead month be refunded.  
            This is not fair that this wasn't refunded, since our child was only there 1 hr. of school 
            and owner took an extra whole tuition month of $390.
