I have lived in this complex for 3 years. Suddenly I got a visit from my brother on March 22,2024 whom stopped by to wash some work clothes. Just so happen he gets arrested at my house while I was sleeping that I had no involvement in. The police along with the apartment manager knocked on my door and the manager stated I would have to get out of my apartment within 15 days because I am responsible for my company and since he is being arrested on the property I am responsible for him. The police tried to intervene and inform them that I had no involvement and it was not necessary to put me and my kids out. I called corporate and left several messages. He (****) called back and stated I still would have to leave so I then informed him of all the other individuals in the complex whom have had someone arrested and still live there but Im the only one being targeted. He said he would investigate and get back to me in 2 days in which he did not. I endured stress for two weeks constantly calling trying to get a response so I would know what to do with my kids and our living situation so I started looking for somewhere else to stay. On April 4th they noticed I did not pay rent and called me and said the only way I could stay in the complex is if my brother never visits me again. He is not allowed on property. I told them I would go ahead and move out the same day and weekend because that is not fair and that is my only relative. Now they are about to evict me because after being told I had to leave theyre saying I have to submit a 60 day notice after I was told twice I had to get out. This is the last month of my lease and now an eviction. This is unacceptable.

We have read the complaint filed by Ms. ****** and take exception to the asseration that she was given any Notice to Vacate based on her brother arrest. At the time of the arrest she was told that we were reviewing the situation and to sit tight and we would get back with her upon completion of the review. If Ms. ****** has any type of Notice to Vacate related to her brothers issue, please provide a copy of it. Ms. ****** is correct that when rent was not paid we did contact her and inquired about the rental payment and in that conversation we told Ms. ****** that based on the background that her brother had that we were not comfortable with him being on property. Ms. ****** wa sin the last month of her lease and could of paid her April rent and given proper notices and vacated if she felt that our request was un reasonable. A lease voialtion issue does not constitue a reason to break the lease contract that she entered into.

If there is additional information that Ms. ****** can provide to dispute my understanding please do so and I will further review the matter.
