    After a pipe burst behind our dishwasher, related to a freeze, ServiceMaster Advanced Restorations (SM) was contracted to complete repairs.After the work was completed, my wife and I noticed our floor now buckled in certain places and bounced when stepped on. We called SM to try to fix the problem and they came out and attempted to insert adhesive under the planks. This did not work; however, after several attempts to get back on their schedule, we were ignored, and we eventually had to hire a third-party contractor to take a look. He discovered: **** failed to properly level the new flooring and had placed planks too close to the ********** had covered up a mold problem, and reinstalled a moldy baseboard instead of getting a new one. They used a baseboard to cover up damage in a second area as ********* failed to remove and replace a water-damaged plywood sheet which also had mold on it. **** had tried to use the cardboard from the floor plank boxes to level the floor. 5.After I asked the new contractor to check the insulation, we discovered SM had only covered part of the pipe with only flimsy black Styrofoam. The rest of the pipe and wall were uninsulated.I told SM ***** including the owner of the company, *** ***, that I was making repairs and that I would use the other contractor. SM did not object. The cost totaled approximately $8,461. We forwarded the invoices to SM. There are other damaged areas and we asked SM for $4,000 to help with another damaged location. SM **** came to my home and agreed the wall had not been properly re-insulated and the floor was still damaged in other areas.After the visit, SM changed their mind. Mr. *** has only offered to forward us an unpaid tile vendor bill from our original March repairs, totaling $2,610. In effect, they are trying to make us become six-month old bill collectors. On the phone, Mr. *** even agreed the tile bill was somewhat arbitrary but has refused to offer anything else to reimburse.

    This company did not deliver the work that they stated was going to be done. We had a construction/repair issue from a ************ was dust, contamination all circulating in the Home. They informed us they would deliver circulation fans to help with our breathing & overall health while repairs were being done & they did not for 13 days. We informed them through our Insurance we never received the fans but they ended up charging our insurance account for the use of the fans. Fraud. The fans were finally delivered after complaining numerous times about getting sick from the contamination/dust/dander/debris. I am a Senior Citizen with numerous health issues & became very, very ill. They were fully aware of this in the very beginning. Had to seek medical attention from not being able to breath properly, coughing, burning through the ************ Never was there a monetary offer to resolve this situation at all for harm & negligence. We are trying to solve the issue through BBB first but if no resolve, will file through an attorney.
