    I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Kwik Kar in ************, ** regarding multiple instances of unsatisfactory service and unnecessary repairs performed on my vehicle.On February 29th, 2024, I sought assistance from ******** as my car was experiencing starting issues. Following their recommendation upon paying for a diagnosis, I authorized the replacement of the fuel pump, incurring a charge of $1204.90. Despite this repair, the issue persisted. Subsequently, I was advised to replace the starter, incurring further expenses. Upon further inspection by another mechanic, it was revealed that the fuel pump replacement was unnecessary, indicating a lack of diagnostic accuracy and potentially exploiting my lack of automotive knowledge.Furthermore, on April 23rd, 2024, I returned to Kwik Kar due to a recurring check engine light. They charged me $875.31 for the replacement of the Charcoal Canister, yet the issue persisted immediately after the purported repair.This consistent pattern of recommending unnecessary repairs and providing ineffective solutions suggests a concerning lack of integrity and professionalism. As a customer, I rightfully expect competent and honest service, neither of which has been provided by ********.I urge the Better Business Bureau to investigate these matters thoroughly and take appropriate action to ensure accountability and prevent similar occurrences in the future. I would also request compensation for the continuous errors that Kwik Kar has made on my car.I will accept the charges for the actual parts that are in my car seeing as how they are already installed, but I request a refund of all labor and diagnostic charges that went into the faulty repairs.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,Dom

    i am writing to inform you that we came to agreement between ******************************** and kwik kar lube and we refunded partial amount .

    we did the diag on the vehicle and mechanic found fuel pump was bad and we replaced it but the next day alternator was found bad and we replaced it and we only charged *********************** . we apologize for any inconvenience this cost mr *****************

    It is statistically improbable to encounter two significant issues consecutively, each resulting in estimated $1000 in repairs. Despite the partial repayment made for the second repair, the subsequent charges remain substantial.


    In light of the substantial financial commitment I have made, totaling over $1500 in repairs within the past 8 month, the offered discount appears disproportionate and fails to adequately address the ongoing issues. I question the diagnosis and subsequent repairs, particularly regarding the fuel pump and charcoal canister.


    The mechanic's decision to address the fuel pump without thorough diagnostic measures raises concerns about the accuracy and integrity of the assessment. Furthermore, contradictory information regarding the my vehicle's condition adds to my apprehension.

    I am disappointed by the lack of transparency and accountability in the service provided. It is my expectation that this matter be promptly and satisfactorily resolved, and I am prepared to escalate my concerns further if necessary.
