    Hello, Recently there has been a influx in the feeding of stray cats. The person above me has taken in a cat in which she has housed fed and protected. As of recently she decided she no longer wants the cat. Instead of taking the cat to a shelter she locks that cat outside. Multiple residents have complained about the constant cries from the cat (which cries all night long while sitting in front of the owners door). Today 1/9/2023 i reached out to the front office in regards to this cat. I was told that the resident admitted that she was feeding the cat and housing it but "it isnt her's". The manager of the property stated that they can not do anything regarding the feeding of stray cats or abandonment of animals. Prevs managers have sent info out requesting that residents do not feed strays. but the current manager states she can not do that by law. As we know stray cats carries disease that can be harmful to humans. I find it very unprofessional for the property managers to find this issue ok and pretty much expect other residents to suffer due to someone's irresponsible acts towards a animal that they have taken care of. This property has declined in so may ways due to current management (work orders not being completed correctly, not willing to replace drafty windows and doors (they attempted to line the window with some type of padding but in return the window is CRACKED IN ORDER FOR PADDING TO FIT WHICH DOES NOT FIX THE ISSUE OF THE ****** property stays dirty with trash, there are many other issues). I am seeking help in this situation because management refuses to help. Please keep in mind there are ppl have to be up for work at 3 am or are getting off around that time in which a crying cat is begging to be let in by its owner.

    Hello,

    Regarding the complaint. I did speak to ************** regarding the stray cat, I told her I would talk to the resident who is feeding the cat to address the issue. In the future I will include this reminder in our monthly newsletter. This was the first time any resident has complaint to me about stray cats, I plan to do my best to stop the issue from progressing.
    Our Maintenance staff comes in each morning, the first thing on their list to do is pick up all the trash on the property.  Throughout the day the entire staff is instructed to pick up any trash they see along the way as they walk the community. Anytime a resident brings it to our attention about trash on the grounds,I send my maintenance team right away to pick up.
    Regarding the service request about the window, we were waiting to receive the weather foam to complete the service request, it has been fixed and completed per our notes. The Service request was put in 11/18/2022 and completed 11/22/2022 per our notes it was sealed from the exterior. I will be more than happy to address any other concering issues.

    I am rejecting this response because:The information provided is by the business is incorrect per our last call you stated you had already been told about the stray cat which is why you spoke with the resident and was told it was not her cat any more. You also stated that you tried calling animal control on a hurt cat  that hangs around the front office. When I asked you what do you suggest I do you stated to call them and hopefully they would come. Regarding my work order for windows lets keep in mind that it took a request by phone and online before you all did anything, no one notified me of the exterior fixing until I called to see what was going on. When provided this information I took a look and there was NO SIGN OF NEW Caulking or anything of that sort. Youve then proceeded to state that you guys will come lay weather stripping keep in mind that we did not have a timeframe as to when that would be done once I reached out and stated I could possibly get someone to do the work For me I was told that if I bought the supplies that you guys will put it in, but I would not be reimbursed for any supplies bought to fix the window because you guys had just ordered the weatherstripping within a day or two of that call, the weatherstripping was put on, and at the time of your maintenance staff being here in my apartment I explain to him that I did not think that was adequate enough due to the fact that my windows were cracked At that point I decided to go ahead and stick it out because you guys were not fixing the correct issue. Keep in mind that in that first order with my window, I explained that my sink was leaking from the top and the maintenance man came and took apart the sink and flooded the kitchen.
    even in that situation, you show no remorse for the situation that your staff and yourself may put your residence in also regarding the I was literally standing in front of that resident when she called you I also helped with calling shelters to see where we could take the cat.

    because ***** is a one party consent state when it comes to recording all calls have been recorded. Later today I will go through my files to located the recording from our last call.

    I went to Hulen Gardens Saturday 11-26-2022 to submit application and pay application give and deposit. On Tuesday 11-29-2022 I was told that the application was denied and was told that it would take 3 weeks to receive deposit back. Im confused as to why it would take so long to receive something that shouldnt have even been deposited until I was approved. *** left a couple of messages with for the property management company but no return call. I would just like my $350 asap

    Hello, 

    Our company deposits all money right away, we do not hold any money here in the office at all. The applicant unfortunatly did not meet our criteria and was denied. We do have to say it takes up to 3 weeks to receive back after the check is cut and mailed. In this case the applicant was denied on 11/29/2022 our company cut the check 11/30/22 and the aplicant received on 12/3/2022. let me know if you would like me to provide more details or information.
