On 5/20/22 I went to my car which was spotted with Asphalt. I immediately contacted our building manager as my office was using Elite Asphalt to redo our parking lot. Several cars were damaged by the Asphalt work done that day. I immediately contacted Elite Asphalt and was met with a very non caring unconcerned response and was told by Elite Asphalts staff ****** to just go get it washed and text the bill to him. The damage to my vehicle was to an extent that this would not correct the damage. I did reach out to several car washes and no one was able to help. I made calls through the week trying to find someone to help me and was met with the same answer each time. During this time not once did Elite Asphalt try to contact me to see status or help with the issue failing to provide any remedies or relief. Saturday 5/28/22 I visited the dealership who was only able to give me an estimate and advised to repaint my car as they told me asphalt can eat the paint. The gentlemen at the dealership took photos and said he would do some research for me. Later that day I was sent a quote for a little under $1500. I immediately text ****** ( Elite Asphalt) and told him they needed to figure this out and I should not be going through all this trouble for their mistake. His response was send me photos of your car. Once I sent them he said, "you don't need a paint job." We clean asphalt and tar and seal off all of our trucks all the time. On 5/31/22 Elite sent **** to attempt a detail of my car. **** told me he was at my office a week before on another car. **** used over the counter products to try to correct the issue but instead further damaged my car by damaging the paint while trying removing the asphalt. . As I watched this happen I asked him to stop and no longer touch my car. I told Elite I was not happy and ****** said he would call me back. **** told me to purchase a color correcting pen for my paint. To this day Elite has still failed to remedy these issues.Business response

We paid $500 to clean the sealant off her car, just the same as the other car that we accidentally got sealant on. There were two cars total. The other car was addressed earlier in the week because we heard about it sooner. Both the sealant and the methods that were used to clean both of the cars were safe and would NOT have caused any damage. There was no damage caused to either of the vehicles by us or the hired detailing company. The damage to the one car was already there upon arrival to clean. Our investigation in this incident shows that the damage was caused by the owner of the vehicle trying to clean it herself before the detail service arrived. We have our company vehicles and equipment cleaned, washed, and polished every week by the same detail service used to clean these two cars. There has never been any damages to our vehicles or any other vehicles nor has there ever been asphalt products unable to be easily removed.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
All tar was not removed from the car. As far as the damage the gentlemen they sent out chipped the paint while I was standing there. I have the photos and he told me to get a paint pen to cover it up. He even texted me the paint pen to use. I said this is not ok. His response was the tar was so hot when he cleaned that the paint went with it. He proved the photos and that is when I asked him to stop touching my car. I did not in no way try to clean my car myself this is the first I have head as I was adamant they should fix it via text and phone. I took it to the dealer who took photos with the estimate. Why would I clean something that was not my fault? They did this to my car they should be responsible to clean it. After making this complaint the company reached out and told me they would come see the car and reimburse me for the damages in return I remove the complaint. Noone showed nor followed up. I will be seeking further action going forward. Thank you for trying to resolve this matter.

We have been trying to reach the customer this person to resolve the issue but they have not returned our calls or text messages. We strive for excellence in our company and worked with her on getting it resolved. The cleaning crew that serviced her car is a professional company that worked for several hours using featherlike dusters to polish her car. We were sent pictures from them and the spot she said they created by rubbing the chrome off. They have denied that this was from their service and Elite Asphalt has tried to reach her to talk to her more about this and again, she is not responding. We are a 5 star company and pride ourself in customer service.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
Per the previous message the company posted here they did not want to resolve this matter. I recieved 1 text yesterday morning around 7 am, followed up by a nasty voice mail at 8 am. This is the first contact since they posted they would not correct their wrong. So yes they are correct that in ************************************************************************************************************************** to seek legal options. I do work and this matter is not on their time as if it was handled properly in a timely mamner to start with we wouldn't be here. Again I was clear on my car in my original posting trying to solve this problem. A crew was not sent out, 1 man was sent who used a power washer, over the counter laundry supplies and a towel on my car. Far from feather duster.

See the attached file. It is a copy of the invoice we paid to have the car cleaned. Also, see the pictures that was taken after the car was cleaned. The car was left spotless as of that day. Whatever happened to the car afterwards is no fault of Elite Asphalt LLC nor **** Of Clean.Initial Complaint

Complaint against *************************** he is extremely pushy doesnt listen when you try to talk and explain what you want done. He quoted us **** even did not come and measure gave a 4 year warranty. Made excuses on why he couldnt come out and measure and said he already ordered rock. I for warned him that it would be more but didnt listen. Then he comes up with another measurement thats in correct it is ***** square feet, which he said he would charge at **** square feet ok with that being said would come in at ******** then you take ****** off cause I told him about the 15% this would come in at a total of ******* I sent him the ****** measurements. We agreed on that then he turns around and says I will cut you a deal I will charge **** five year warranty with double chip and seal and a huge discount. We are extremely unhappy with his seller skills and his lack of communication or taking the time to let a customer explain what they want he said he would give us several options to chose from but its apparent that did not happen. When we have tried to talk to him to explain what we are looking for. We also told him we wanted the seal coating as well. Either way I most definitely will not do any recommendations for him. Changes prices way to fast says one thin does another and not respectful really rude and you dont call and flirt with your customer at 11 at night and say sorry didnt mean to keep your sister up really. I have messages. Will not pay what we didnt agree on we know what we wanted and asked for and given no time to explain or ask options its like we were a pay check lets keep trucking thats just sad is all. We will pay the **** and keep our 5 year warranty but want our black seal coating to make sure it has a sealant and does not gravel back up.we cant afford another **** we told him this but if we honestly have to pay for this anyways not cool husband is extremely I mean extremely upset, and come get the dirt pile they left in yard.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. They have resolved this issue please kindly remove from bbb. They have done right and issued a free driveway to the ********* please remove complaint
