This account is 4 years and old and they repossessed the car because it was a lemon. They wont give me the details of the whereabouts of the car if it was sold or not at the auction, which according to ***** blue book it was sold 2 years ago. They are still reporting to the agency that Im almost 180 days late for a payment. Its hurting my credit tremendously and its illegal to collect on a car that they have sold. They didnt send me a redemption letter or anything.

Chase Acceptance/****** ********** in ************ sold me a faulty vehicle when it stopped on me they towed it into their shop to see the problem and then told me it was a costly repair so the better option was to voluntarily have it repossessed. I was sent paper work in August 2020 to sign and I sent it back. Fast forward to present day they are actively reporting this account as late and open and refuse to close it as a repo as agreed unless I give them a lump sum payment. They are rude and usually cuss at me and hang up claiming no owner is ever available to speak and they dont have record of an open account for me. I have disputed the account through Equifax several times and they respond with a FORGED FALSIFIED ledger even reporting payments being made recently when I havent had access to the account or the vehicle since late August of 2020. I am not sure where to go from here but I cannot use my credit for anything as it is showing I have an account for $11,000 that is severely behind on my credit. I have been trying to come to some sort of solution with these guys for over 6 months now. Just seems very shady and unprofessional. Would like to know what is the best next step for me to get this account closed and categorized correctly on my credit report. Why was I given a repo form to sign if no repo was reported? Why was I not given to vehicle back and able to make my own repairs as I had done prior to this vehicle if the account was to remain open? I have all of this documented I should have never been given a repo form to sign under false pretenses! I would like to have this handled before I continue with a lawyer on my behalf. This account needs to be reported as a voluntary repo as agreed upon.

On 6-14-22 I mailed a payoff to chase auto-the payoff has still not been posted to my account and I have had to make additional payments to protect my credit as they are posting late charges as well as sending me emails to make a payment. On July 28 2022 I was told that they have my payoff but due to being short staffed it has not been postedas of today they have still not posted my payoff. I have asked for resolution but have been told I need to wait and that calling in will not make them post it any faster. It is approaching 60 days and still have no resolution. I have left messages for supervisors hoping they could speed up the process but have not received a return call. I am at a loss as to what else to do please help!

In March of 2020, I purchased a 2011 **** Fusion from ****** *********** or it's subsidiary, Chase Acceptance. I overpaid for the car that had over ******* miles on it, and of course, it was nothing but a problem. By the summer time of 2020, I was fed up with the car already. That is only 3 months. It left me stranded on the side of state highway 360 in *************, *****. Later on the same day it left me stranded, I received a call from Chase Acceptance, as I was behind on payments. I told the lady I spoke with EXACTLY where to recover the vehicle. I never heard another word from chase acceptance, therefore I assumed that they recovered their car.Fast forward to 2022, and I attempt to get a Va home loan. I have an open auto loan for $15, 289 from chase acceptance. It was reposessed, right? I've called, I've emailed, and the company will not talk to me. All they do is update the loan as 30 days past due on my credit report, so it continues to lower my score. I need to speak with these folks. Something needs to be done.

The money is still owed even though it was a repo. We are at the store 9-7 MF and **** on Saturday. ************

If she pays off the balance Chase Acceptance will update the credit report.
