    On September 13, I contacted Jimenez Construction Company regarding a project at my home involving the installation of an accent wall and painting three other walls. I provided photos of the wall and hand-drawn measurements. However, they never visited my home to discuss paint colors or to take their own measurements.On September 19, 2024, I received an invoice for $1,250.00, along with a request for my signature to agree to the work and a $500 deposit. I paid the deposit via Zelle, after which he sent me an updated invoice indicating that I received a $500 discount. I have documentation of this transaction, including text messages confirming that he labeled it as a discount and acknowledged receipt of my payment.Jimenez stated the work would begin on October 14. However, on Sunday, October 13, I inquired if he was still coming, and he responded that we should reschedule for Thursday. The night before he was supposed to arrive, I again had to reach out to confirm, and he postponed it to Monday. Once more, on a Sunday, I asked if they were coming, and yet again, the answer was no. He then claimed he would come on the 28th, but he did not show up.I have repeatedly requested a refund of my deposit. He mentioned he would return the deposit after returning the materials he purchased. After several days, I requested a copy of the itemized receipt for the materials he needed to return, but despite multiple follow-ups, he has since stopped responding. On November 4, I sent him a Zelle request for my $500 deposit, which he declined. I have not received any communication from him in over a week.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I am following up on a complaint that I made on November 5. I made a post in a local ******** group  where ****** Jimenez reached out to me saying they could do the work. When I made the post I never said their Company name,  However the admin in the group did mention their name to get a response from them. (photo of post at the end of the message) ****** Jimenez, text me threatening me to take down the post of he will refuse to refund my money. I did take the post down and let him know however he started making other demands blackmailing me by saying if I didn't do what he told me to do I would not be getting my money. I have attached all the messaged to this email. After I told him I would write reviews about his company he finally gave me my refund back.
