    I have been trying to contact Alliance Vision Institute to get a refund for an overpayment for procedures (cataract surgery) performed on May 22 and May 23, 2023. When I went for the surgery, I was told that my insurance would not cover the procedures (both eyes) and that I would need to pay the full amount $8700 out of my pocket, which I did. I subsequently learned that my two insurance plans, ************** and Tricare for Life had paid $4066.56 toward the $8700. I am trying to get a refund to me for the $4066.56. I have called Alliance Vision six time to speak with the office mgr. to process the refund, but at each call, I was told that the office mgr. would call me back. There has been no response from Alliance. My calls to them began in June, and have been followed by calls to them on 6/30, 7/3, 7/5, 7/10, 7/14, and 7/17, all with no response or result from Alliance.     Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.  We apologize for any inconvenience experienced.  In an effort to resolve this matter, we have completed the below.

    All incoming and outgoing calls are recorded for training purposes.  Upon review of these calls, we can confirm incoming calls and messages were taken and outgoing calls with voicemail messages were completed to resolve this matter.  In this complaint, an alternate phone number was provided that did not exist as the preferred contact number on the account.  Today, successful contact was made to fully resolve all questions related to a potential refund and to confirm the additional preferred contact number.
