Wow. Where do I start ? We called Maximus Moving on Monday afternoon looking for a move the next day and ****** answered the phone. He had remembered the prior phone call we had made to him so he seemed more than willing to move our items. When we spoke to him a few weeks prior, he had told us certain travel fees that were set and said that he would honor them. ****** spoke and said he would honor the rate we had written about. He came 90 minutes late the next day. During the process of wrapping the furniture and loading it onto his truck, he complained that its ***** law that he cant work more than eight hours! We had only been five hours in at that point. ****** complained throughout the move, said that he was told everything was packed. However, being a moving company and knowing we were in the process of moving he did not bring any tape or boxes. It clearly showed this was not a reputable moving company at all. It was run by 2 men who probably wait by the phone for a customer to call. ********************************************* is A COMPLETE JOKE. Maximus Moving claims to have five star reviews are you serious? The way ****** ran the business was completely unprofessional on every level. Next at 2 p.m. He told us it was against ***** law to work over 8 hours well it only had been 4.5 hrs, he said he wanted to come back the next day. Who in the their right mind would let a mover leave with their furniture and boxes?He did not abide by what he said he would do, which is load and unload the same day. We paid him in cash and gave him an extra $200. ****** started to argue with us about the travel fee. Something he said he would honor when we told him he had mentioned it was $400 a few weeks ago. He says it was $645.00 The next day he started to text us asking for an additional $154.13 for a box and ******* he left with us. He threaten us for $154.13. We paid him in full and told him he damaged almost $600 worth of stuff.
