About 13 years ago give or take our roof was damaged and we hired Lon Smith to replace it. After it was replaced and for years afterward other roofers and construction companies would approach us to say there were visible problems with our roof. As the roof aged many roofers told us that the roof was clearly in bad shape. We had multiple small repairs to the flashing around a fireplace and some dormer windows that had never been correctly done. The resulting leaks caused internal damage that we would periodically have to repair. Last year I called Lon Smith about our roof and their sales guy laughed at me and said our insurance wont pay anything so it wasnt worth pursuing a claim. This year, when we finally got a new roof with another company, we discovered that the plywood decking was completely missing in one area of the roof and poorly done in other places. The decking in one area was rotted. Water had been leaking into our attic for years with damage to one of our upstairs rooms as a result. Its too late for any kind of response from Lon Smith, but I just wanted to warn others that if you think youre going to get a great roof just because youre working with a big company, beware. With todays high deductibles, any repairs that are due as a result of shoddy work will likely be out of pocket, so its important to know that your new roof was well built.

Value for our money and quality products and installation resulted in not only replacing our shingles but fixing a lot of the problems we have had with leaves in drains and drainage from our gutters that we have had for decades. They also discovered that we did not have enough soffits for air intake and they corrected our ventilation on top of our roof replacing the mixture of roof vents and turbines with all turbines. Our attic airflow improved a lot and on average our attic has been ****************************************************************************** below what the government recommends so that was money well spent. They did not damage anything and cleaned up really well. We hope we do not have to have our roof replaced due to a hail storm any time soon thanks to the class 4 shingles we had installed but if we do we will do business with this roofing company again.

Arrived when they said, finished in the one day as planned. Estimator worked with insurance **mpany to agree on work to be done, went back and forth so I would only pay the deductible. The roofers saw a potential problem for leak that wasnt seen on original inspection because it was under sky lite and fixed it. Roofing **mpany went back to insurance ** and hit them to pay additional money. The inspector for **mpany saw something that wasnt right so a roofer came back to **rrect problem
