We went for a tire on July 11th, 2024. As they were putting the tire on our car, they broke a stud off of my whee hub.. and this is the THIRD time this has happened upon letting the manager know, he proceeded to call me a liar and try to pick a fight with me.. and they took my payment way before the work was even done which now I see why they did so I spent $35 on the tire.. and I asked for money back due to them braking my studs and no signs present saying they are not responsible for broken items.. as I asked for a refund they again tried to pick a fight.. so I had to leave to avoid trouble..

    Business response

    08/01/2024

We are very sorry for the inconvenience. The vehicle had damaged screws  The vehicle was already in that condition. We told him that we couldn't put his tire on because two screws were broken.

They put on the spare tire and damaged the bolts. We are not responsible for damages that were caused outside the shop

They never asked us for their money back, we sold them a tire for $35. We put the tire on, we told them it was not safe to drive the vehicle with 3 bolts.

They were very aggressive. And we had to tell them to leave the property.

On November 6th 2023. My husband went in to get an oil change on my truck. One minute after leaving the establishment, the truck stopped and the motor blew. I called a mobile mechanic to look at the truck where it stopped and he said the oil was emptied but new oil was never put in. I called the establishment and they sent an employee to the scene and he attempted to put fresh oil in the truck but it was too late the trucks engine was already locked up. So I had to call a tow truck to bring my truck home. I went back up to James tire center to talk with someone regarding what happened and they wouldn't take any accountability saying they did nothing wrong. I asked to speak with the owner and they said he was on vacation. I left my number and no one has contacted me regarding the situation.
