I was looking for health insurance. I spoke to an agent from the company and paid $109 for medical insurance. On the next day, I called to cancel the insurance and request a refund. This was because the insurance received was different from expectation. I was promised a refund but never received it.Customer response

I was contacted by this business because I was in the market for insurance for my family. Was connected to an agent that supposedly found me the best plan. I blindly trusted her and ended up paying 700 dollars for insurance. I was sent email information and health cards. I contacted my doctor and after a while was told they dont even know which company of health insurance I have. I tried multiple times to call this business to ask questions, and I would get hung up on each time. When I would finally get in touch with a real person and try to cancel, I would get sent to yet another person and could never get a straight answer about cancelling and getting a refund. All I want is my money back from this fraudulent company.Business response

I qualified for **** in October, canceled all other health insu held previously through Healthcare Ins Marketplace (AHCA/ .gov ************* 12/12 I was auto debited $369 by "PHS", & $264 1/14, unrecognized charge bank unable to ID. After online search, charge from "Premier Health Solutions, ******, **. I DID NOT SIGN UP w/THIS ** OR PURCHASE INS FROM THEM!I received no docs no policy numbers, emails, membership cards, no letters. Called PHS 1/21 at 11:52 am to inquire about policy/charge. Background noise was extreme, difficulty hearing. I was asked name, address and phone. Requested cancelation, was told they could not cancel policy, & to call issuing agent. They did not know who agency was. I repeated that I did not buy this insurance. I was told I could be transferred to agent who could cancel policy. I was then put on hold, & transferred. I explained situation & asked what agency issued this policy. Just told policy issued 12/12 & they had my ************** phone, but NO AGENCY NAME PROVIDED. I asked 2nd time, woman became agitated & disrespectful, said she said hold, she was typing, & then put on "a proper hold" to listen to music. When returned to line, she said coverage would end 2/12 & no further charges.I asked for all signed policy paperwork to be emailed. She asked me to verify email address, she would not. Said policy dictated I tell her. She said watch for email within an hour & if I didn't see it, check junk/spam folder. NO EMAIL ARRIVED.She would not answer my question about who issued policy. A legit ins company would issue a pro-rated refund! Instead, they would not refund, only cancel.I believe I was scammed as I DID NOT SIGN UP for health insurance w/PHS in *****, because, as stated above, I qualified for SSDI in Oct & did not seek further insurance 2 mo later, in ****** budget is limited & $528 is a LOT to be scammed out of. I respectfully request that BBB obtain a full refund from *** on my behalf.Thanks so much!Business response

12/01/2025 - PURCHASED HEALTH INSURANCE BROKER PROMISED UNCOVERED BENEFITS, AFTER REVIEWING WELCOME PACKET I REACHED OUT TO THEM TO CANCEL. i THEN RECIEVED A CALL FROM A REPRESENTIVE TELLING ME THAT THEY COULD COVER THE BENEFITS I NEEDED AFTER FINDING OUT THAT WAS ANOTHER LIE THEY PROMISED I REACHED OUT TO THEM AGIAN AND TOLD THIS ALL WAS DOCUMENTED AND THE POLICY WOULD BE CANCELED AND I WOULD RECIEVE A REFUND. Since April last year I have made a total of $2226 through premier health solutions to a scamming company that they put me through to. I have tried on multiple occasions to get a refund to no avail. I am struggling with 4 jobs in the ** and have been majorly stressed out by this deception. I truly believed Premier health solutions were good people but I was very wrong. I am rejecting this response because:My name is ***** ****** and I have pasted my response below.I am rejecting this response as I can see in all other complaints made to you in the past, you have successfully refunded these issues. You were the company debiting my account and therefore you are the ones liable for the money that has been lost. You cannot be told time and time again that the companies you are debiting for are scams and continue these actions. It is your responsibility to check the legitimacy of the companies you are taking money for. From ********** hard working Americans, charging me $250 a month for absolutely no cover. I will now have to also pay a fine to the *** for having no legitimate health insurance due to this scam that you were apparently unknowingly perpetrating. I was convinced to sign up for a plan and was told it's incomplete it needed my spouses information. JAN 10 I was also told I can cancel anytime and get my money back.The company is First Health PPO.Premier Health solutions does the collections.I did my research and realised I didn't want to go any further with First Health PPO. I told them we didn't want to sign up for the product over the phone JAN 15. They attempted to get me to finish the application and I refused and also did not acknowledge my request to cancel. They are very rude, hard to deal with and pass me around from person to person after I asked for a specific name to speak ***** wish is that I am canceled from their system and billing stop immediately. If any funds were withdrawn it should be returned via refund.I saw them attempting to withdraw funds on JAN 14.I have no interest in the product they have and I believe I was scammed into giving my information. On 1/15/25 I spoke with them about getting health insurance. I was told that this was a policy through ***** and had a 0 deductable and 80/20 split. They seemed very professional and knowledgeable. I was told many times I could get a refund within the next 30 days. After getting off the phone I was sent the information and cards. I could not find Aetna anywhere and then I started seeing this is not insurance. When I called to cancel I was hung up on. Then they said the person I spoke with didn't work there. Finally I spoke with someone who tried to claim it's not considered insurance because they don't cover maternity but that's all. They are full of it. I want all my money back. On 1/14/25 I went on the website ************************************** to compare insurance plans. I filled out a form to ask for quotes and received an email that I would be receiving a call to go over available policy options. I received a call from ******* ********* and verbally gave him more information about what I was looking for in a plan. He put into "his system" and came back with a ************** under Aetna First Health Network as well as a dental INSURANCE" I quickly received a text message while he was on the phone and he asked me to check the boxes for each type of coverage I would receive and since we spoke about all of these on the phone I checked the boxes and signed the form. I received several emails to enroll in a patient portal which from there I was told I could pick providers and see my full benefits. I come to find that it has nothing to do with actual INSURANCE and no sign of an Aetna plan. It seemed to be extremely bogus discount plans. I was told on phone that I have 30 days to CANCEL and when I tried they took me in circles where I filled out a form to cancel that they sent me via text and with a different business name entirely. They seem to operate under many names! After I filled out form it said someone would contact me to verbally finalize the cancellation and I have not heard back. I can't believe this has happened to me and I do not want them to be able to continue doing this to other people. I am seeking a refund of the charge of $148.94 (1/14/25) under the name "PHS HEALTH BILL FRISCO TEXAS". I hope you can help me. Thank youCustomer response

On my credit card it is their company from ******, ***** and in the correspondence and on the receipt I provided it is the same phone number that I would call for their "member services." I have attached as many screenshots of emails and my credit card as I could of which are from their email address and even has their logo on top of one of the emails.Business response

In October of 2024, I contacted Premier Health Solutions about getting a new health insurance policy. They set me up with a policy from ManhattanLife. After paying a few premiums (that were higher than I expected), I found out that what I thought was full coverage was actually only supplemental. I chose to cancel the policy. In December of '24, I filled out and returned a cancellation request form to *************. Today, January 9th 2025, I received an email from Premier Health Solutions stating that my premium would be charged to my credit card in a few days. I called the customer service phone number provided in the email, I was put on hold for several minutes, and then disconnected. I called again, was put on hold, and disconnected. I called a third time and got the same results. Next I tried calling ManhattanLife. I was connected to a *** and she confirmed that my cancelation request had been received, but told me that I would have to speak with Premier Health Solutions in order to cancel the policy. She gave me a new phone number for Premier, so I called but couldn't connect. When I made the initial call to Premier in October, everything went quite smooth. I've tried calling them about times dozen times since, and I've been able to connect exactly once. And then call ended when I was disconnected while being transferred from one *** to another. So far, I've given them $1051.94 and I've gotten absolutely nothing in return. And now they're going to take another $343.98 in a few days. And $343.98 every month until I can get the policy canceled. And I can't cancel the policy if they won't answer their phone. I don't expect a refund, but I do expect them to stop charging me for a policy I'm not able to cancel.Business response

Date of transaction: Nov.4th 2024 Amount $448.99 for November 2024 Amount $448.99 for December 2024 Committed to promise Insurance Policy under AEtna-all medications covered and x-rays blood work and test. Bough through Elevated Health, through the Health care exchange.When I tried to contact my pharmacy.Rx card is a discounted card medication- not covered. Is not what was stated to me. I was told that I would have coverage on my medical cost. No deductible. For $448.99. When I tried to contact Elevated health , it as though no one knew who, I was talking about and was given bogus contact numbers each and every time , I tried to reach out to them, prior to cancelling and occured problems making contact with them personally. No one knew, the person, or who represented Elevated Health. Cancelled Dec.12 ***** via Email to member services.They returned Cancellation email Dec 30th 2024. Since, then I have been in contact with Premiere Healthcare Solutions ,on yesterday 1/6/2025 and today 1/7/2025 trying to resolve , and talk to a person who answers the phone asking for information and trying to get the issues straight, about returning my Dec. 5th 2024 payment. Which, he claims at the end of our long conversation, that he only verifies information and to call these other telephone numbers, that I have called numerous times and get no-where with the people who answers. If they answer at all. Here is the number.************. My credit card company provided me with this number if it helps. ************. I originally found this company on line.This person, of -Elevate Health sold me the policy, which I never recieved a insurance policy or a policy number in the mail. All I recieved was discounted cards and these type of things via email. and these are the telephone numbers he provided me with ************, mobile phone214- ********.
