I want to request a refund from the business for my laser hair removal package purchasd 8 session ( leg & face) each with them on July *******. I have gone through 3 burns over the course of treatment . First burns were in the second session itself on the leg and they did not provide any help for it. ( August 2023)the laser tech adjsted settings and we continued treatment. I still have the scars due to burn on the inner thigh region. The second burn was on my face due to laser tech negligience on Jan 3, 2024. She zapped a hair lock ( from my head) that was falling near my jaw area and it burned my face as it got burnt off and was resting near my jaw. I got my remaining 4 sessions for the face converted to other area ( abdomen and UA) instead of refund . I asked for it but this was the negotiation done by the manager ******** at that time. Again I had to manage the burn on my own , thankfully it did not leave any scar. I completed my paid sessions for all the areas on September 27. There is no progress on some areas like they had promised like the legs (not completely hair free after 8 sessions) and the abdomen where hair growth is still prominent after 4 sessions. I went in for a complimentary session which was added to my account on Nov 6, 2024 by present manager . The laser tech informed she will increase the setting to see improvement and i asked only for patch test but she treated my underarms. I thought she would adjust settings according to the sensitive area of body. She treated underarms first. I asked her only to patch test my legs and abdomen and we rescheduled for Nov *******. After treatment however my underarms are raw burnt and red. I have gone through my third burn! I have suffered injury with the laser at this practice many times and also not seeing the promised results. Also my experience with the management was really harsh. I need a refund for my ordeal, this is least compensation as the laser did not remove hair and added scars on me.

    Hi team

The manager at Frisco threatened me for putting a complaint on BBB. He said he was going to give a full refund and dismiss me as a client and come after me if I put any reviews. I informed I have put up a complaint with BBB but he said I need to take it down or he will not give me a refund. Please can you let me know what I should do about this unprofessional and corrupt malpractice done to me. I am not able to use your consumer portal to solve my issue and I am being blackmailed about it. I request advice on what I should do. Will this complaint be posted on website after it is resolved ?

Paid for expensive Co2 laser for face neck and chest with PRP add on. When I get there and after they draw blood and take Valium they tell me I should not do the Co2 laser because I am half middle eastern and have not taken hydroquinone and its too risky with my background. Please note that I always admit to being half middle eastern and my last name is obviously not a white person name. I dont look fully white. They said that the store manager who is no longer there had a different policy on who can get the co2 laser but they dont want to do them on my ethnicity now. Thats fine. I get it if its a risk of hyperpigmentation. Instead they give me a skin pen treatment which is way less expensive and the manager tells me she is giving me a free syringe of ******** facial filler which I refuse because I dont want a filler. I called and emailed. No response. Very disturbed and worried. I no longer trust them and feel scammed.

As an organization we were first notified of this complaint on 2/28/24 to the email address **************************.  I will personally be reaching out to the consumer today.  We do not recommend CO2 procedures for anyone with a skin *********** of 3 or higher.  The reasoning behind this is because when there is increased melanin in the skin the patient runs a much higher risk of having hyperpigmentation post procedure.  We want to ensure safe and optimal results for every patient.

    Sincerely,

    *********************

I have been doing business with BHRC Frisco for about 3 years getting several different procedures during that time. My complaint is related to the cool-sculpting procedure. I have spent well over $5,000 for cool-sculpting treatments that spanned late Nov - Dec of 2020 to Jan - Feb of 2022. I would have a series of treatments done over time as my budget allowed, taking advantage of periodic pricing specials. As I had invested quite a bit of money, I was anxious to see what the results were looking like after the last series of treatments in Jan - Feb of 2022, particularly since I had recently noticed that I had begun to get larger in the upper section of my abdomen rather than smaller. In fact, when I went for my Assessment prior to the Jan - Feb cycle of treatments, the Office Manager, ********, who did the Assessment along with a Trainee, asked me what was going on in the top portion of my abdomen? I told her I had no idea...I was just continuing until I could see some actual improvement. This was my first experience with cool-sculpting so I had no idea how long it would take to see significant improvement. They did treatments on 3 or 4 areas during that time. The one thing I noticed is that they did NOT treat the most problematic area that she had inquired about. Around May of this year, after not seeing any significant results, and having a nagging suspicion about that problem area, I did some research online. That's when I really learned about PAH. I consulted with 2 doctors who advised that I did in fact have PAH which is a known risk of cool-sculpting and advised me to file a claim with AbbVie/Allergen, the maker of the device. I immediately did so and the doctor sent in all of the requested records. I advised BHRC about the claim and ******** told me the records would be sent. I was recently advised by AbbVie that they were putting my case on HOLD as they had received none of the requested records from BHRC. This is very poor business practice.
