    Rented a beach house through them recently. It was not as described, had maintenance issues and cleaning issues. I contacted Beach box to inform and ask for cleaning and remedy things for our visit. They did not follow through. They never called me or communicated well. I always had to call them. I asked for a manager to reimburse part of our rental. No acknowlegement or response. Pictures they post are not accurate of the property. Chairs in pictures not ones on the deck. Gazebo shown in back yard not theirs. Belongs to neighbor. Cons: Cleaning: Parts of the Home were dirty when we ariived. Furniture was dirty, windows were not cleaned, return air and vents were dirty. Carpet on stairs very dirty especially landing at top. Maintenance: Several tile in home are cracked/broken.(could cut barefoot) Grout is missing and tile are loose. Several loose boards on deck (trip hazard). Water hose had hole in it. Sliding door master has fogged glass 1 side, Living room view window clouded cant see out clearly. Downstairs remote not working, requested batteries. I called wed am left message, never called back. I called again in PM and spoke to Mallory (i believe) about cleaning touch up and batteries and report maintenance. I was asked to document evrything with photos and submit. I was told cleaning would come after 8am Thursday. No one showed, no phone call, no batteries. I asked several time for a manager to intervene and give us a discount on the rental. No response. Wont be renting through you again.

    Rented vacation home from this company that was infested with mice and bugs. House was not cleaned prior-crumbs in sheets on beds. Owner refused to refund although we had to change homes and pay again. The mice were discovered very late on our second evening and we left immediately the next morning after finding alternate home and a night with zero sleep. Owner blamed weather but I also live in TX with these weather conditions and I don’t have mice in my home. I believe had home been properly cleaned maybe there would be no mice. All food in the house purchased had to be disposed of and everything we took had to be sanitized as the mice were in the bedroom we slept in and in the kitchen. There was also mold present in the home that was discovered while looking for entrance that mice used. Pictures attached of blood splatter on walls, dead bugs smashed on walls, mold and mice.
