In 2020, I asked Brooks Plumbing to test the water and sewer lines for a home I was purchasing in *******Brooks Plumbing tested the water lines, but said that they could not perform the sewer line test because the house had no cleanouts Then, Brooks Plumbing said that the sewer line test was completed, but the test failed, which didnt make sense since they never found the cleanouts. I then requested a visual inspection and was told that the tech could not get the camera down the vent pipes, but later told that the sewer lines passed the visual inspection, which also made no sense. As could be expected for 50+ year-old house, the sewer lines were in fact severely corroded, which two other plumbing companies said should not have passed a test or been missed on a visual inspection. Also, both of the other plumbing companies were able to find (in 5-10 minutes) the cleanouts that Brooks Plumbing said did not exist. As a result of the inconsistent, conflicting and changing stories, and inability to find cleanouts that were obviously present, Brooks Plumbing did not appear technically competent/qualified for sewer line inspections. When Brooks Plumbing contacted me in 2023 offering a sewer line inspection for $69, I told them about the sewer line corrosion they had missed on their prior visual inspection, and showed them a photo of the cleanouts they werent able to find. They had no remorse for missing the sewer line corrosion and denied they had made any mistakes, not even that they had missed finding the existing cleanouts

Hi Mr. ***** [Per our conversation on March 29, 2024 please see my response below.]We're pretty disappointed with your review of our services, we strive to provide the best service possible. We would like to politely rebut a couple of your points: - We did tell you there was a leak on the sewer system, you have confirmed this by stating roots were observed - As I stated in my email to you this morning you had a single cleanout which sweeps away from the home and towards the city so it would have been impossible to isolate leaks without installing a second cleanout - We are happy to provide any documentation you would like but please be advised our sewer cameras do not have internal memory, we would have needed advanced notice that you would have liked a recording Best regards, Brooks Plumbing P.S. We also see from your previous posts on NextDoor.com that those roots were not discovered until 2022 by RotoRooter which was two years after our visit. We don't feel like we can take responsibility for defects in the sewer years after our initial visit. Regardless, those roots do indicate a leak and clearing them with a sewer machine is only a temporary stop-gap. Hopefully the third plumbing company you had come out addressed the leak and not only the roots.

Best service I've ever had. Brooks Plumbing has provided three different services to our house. The first a ****** line damage due to foundation movement. The second, repair of sewer line under our foundation, again because of foundation movement. The third, a broken income freshwater line, broken again because of the very, very dry summer. They came out gave a price and began work immediacy, Work was completed with little effect on the working of the household.I highly recommend Brooks Plumbing.

I CAN NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. There is plenty plumbers available with professional manners and not overcharging. I had a visible bathroom leak, called and explained the situation in details to the rude dispatch. The service technician arrived the next day without capability or tools for the job. During a 5-minute visit he did verify that there is a visible leak in the bathroom. And I WAS CHARGED $200 for this 'diagnostics'. Note that this $200 did not include providing an estimate for the work that was needed. There customer service continued to be rude when aggressively collecting their funds. DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME!

Good morning ********, The invoice in question was only billed for $167.50. For that price we sent a licensed plumber to your rental property and performed leak testing & isolation services. We were able to locate your leak and we did submit an itemized estimate for repairs. After receiving the invoice and estimate we never obtained your approval to perform repairs; because the home is tenant occupied, we must await homeowner approval before performing any additional work. We are sorry for the misunderstanding. With late fees the invoice amounts to $202.64 after being ignored for 7 months. As I mentioned, I am happy to waive the late fees if we can close the invoice. Best regards, Brooks Plumbing
