On May 6 2024 I paid the company ***** dollars to replace screws and grommets on my metal roof and to replace the gutters on my home. On July 15 I noticed that there were leaks from rain coming into my home. I contacted the company and was told that someone would come out and look at the roof. After that I had to call them 4 additional times and email them as well. Today they told me there is no way that they caused any leaks in the home. During the time that I had the roof work done and now I have been working in a room in my home and added over 1000 worth of insulation in my attic that is now ruined. I do not have additional money to hire another company to come and fix their mistake. The work they have done is now causing my home to get ruined every time it rains.

    09/30/2024

We met onsite with Mrs. ***** September 30, 2024.  In second bedroom, we assessed the inside of the home where the wet spots on insulation.  After investigating and removing the paper backed insulation, we found the original factory installed insulation to be dry and showed no signs of water.  In daughters room, we removed the ceiling tile that showed moisture damage.  After inspection, we found signs of mice bedding in insulation with faeces which may have caused wet staining on ceiling tile.  We examined the roof and found, all screws were replaced in proper manner and there was no damage to roof panels.  This moisture issue was not caused by King Roofing installing new screws and neoprene washers.  King Roofing did the R-Panel maintenance in the correct manner and did not cause the moisture issue. It is our belief that the home is over insulated causing moisture build up to occur.  We have contacted a metal roof designer to expert opinion to either confirm our belief or let us know if there is anything else that may be causing this moisture build up.
