Ordered a gray 24u desk Dec 26, 2023 with a quoted delivery time of 12 to 16 weeks. Had a few email interactions with the company confirming the order. First quoted delivery time April 10th 2024. Emailed company on April 12th (no desk, no answer). Emailed company on April 24th (no desk, no answer. Emailed company on June 25th (no desk). Got a response on June 26th letting me know that the color I ordered was no longer available. This is 6 months after I ordered. I agreed to accept a different color desk and got a couple of emails from them. Emailed company on August 27th after seeing that they had a new website design. Emailed company on Sept 6th (no desk). Emailed company on Sept 13th (no desk). Got a response letting me know they were working on it. Emailed company on Oct 16 (no desk). Emailed company on Oct 24 (no desk). Got a response on Oct 28 letting me know how they had to get supplies from a different place, shipping delays, etc. No delivery date. Emailed company on Nov 22 (no desk) after receiving multiple ads for their black friday deals and the new desk design that they were selling. At this point my delivery date was quoted as Oct 16th (no desk). Emailed company on Nov 27, Dec 17, Dec 18 and again Dec 26. I have no desk, I have no delivery date. They are advertising new products, posting on social media how their turn around time for desks is 12 to 16 weeks and that the posts from a few customers about delays were not accurate. I paid them more than $3000 for a desk a year ago. I want the desk but have received no indication that this is actually going to happen.Initial Complaint

Purchased a Dangerfox ******* 24U Studio Workstation Desk on March 27th, 2023. At that time, the estimated completion date was ten to twelve weeks from date of purchase. After lengthy delays, the product final shipped in July of 2024(16 months after purchase. *** lost one of the four boxes the desk was shipped in. I filed a claim with *** and was able to get Dangerfox reimbursed for the lost package. *** only reimbursed $100 due to the package not being insured or the value declared.The box that was lost contained the wooden leg assembly's(made to order), the bolts/screws/hardware, and the rack rails. Dangerfox stated they would work on replacements for these items to ship out the week of August 19th, 2024. After 3 weeks of waiting, I was told replacements still had not been made or shipped. I asked for the hardware kit to be shipped early so I could at least assembly the pieces of the desk that did arrive. Dangerfox agreed to send this out on September 17th, but it has yet to arrive and they have not responded to any emails I have sent. As of today, I have still no replacements to the lost box and what has arrived is completely useless due to no hardware being sent. I would like Dangerfox to fulfill my order by providing full replacements.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:The business has stated many times that they are in progress or shipping today, yet weeks and now months have gone by since the package was lost and I was originally told replacements were being shipped in August. I have seen no effort of good faith that this company will fulfill the order. I have requested they ship the hardware(no manufacturer ingredients required) and have been told they would ship it with no package or tracking info. If they cannot complete even a simple task of throwing some screws and bolts into the mailbox, I don't believe they will ever follow through on a complete replacement set of legs, hardware, and rack rails worth $700+.

On February 19th I placed an order for a rack accessory for my sound studio for $1249.00. Immediately after I placed the order on the website I received an email from them stating it would be a 6-8 week wait time for the product and that they would be in touch with me about any updates on the order. I have not received any information from them, no emails or updates, and on Monday July 29th, I sent an email requesting a refund as they have not fulfilled my order. At this point, 24 weeks later/6 months later, I no longer need the product because I had to find a different product. In their email response they expressed that they are behind in production and that they would be sending the product in a few more weeks which I do not want and will refuse delivery. All I want now is my money back. They have exhibited poor customer service by not filling me in with updates on my order, managing expectations, nor have they been responsive to my emails/requests for a refund.Initial Complaint

Heard great things about the company, so I ordered a desk on June 16th, 2023. I was given a ***** week lead time, which I expected to be slightly longer based on feedback from other customers. The company was originally fairly responsive to emails, but have now promised completion dates that have come and gone. First December 27th 2023, then mid February 2024. They stopped responding to our email chain after their last response on February 14th, 2024. I just need the desk I ordered. I have had to cancel multiple sessions as a result of this delay. Despite their reputation for quality, if I knew there would be this length of a delay, I could not have ordered in good conscience.Business response

I purchased a desk on March 15, 2023. Its been 47 weeks and I still have not received the desk I purchased. Theyve stopped replying to emails and IG messages. Its been 4 weeks since my last response from them. In that response, they said they were waiting on stain that was supposed to be delivered on that Friday. Ive heard nothing from them since. I understand theyve had some supplier issues but that excuse has run its course. Theyve strung me along with false production and delivery times. Dangerfox has offered a keyboard tray as a means of easing the frustration, but considering that they already have problems keeping their word on lead times and delivery times, I can only hope they honor the offer. My confidence in this company is completely gone. Give me the desk I paid for.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
I was told on Feb 9, 2023 that I would have an update on my order after they got back from lunch 2 weeks later, I still have no update on my order.Yes, they have thrown in a $500 keyboard tray for free but the tray is attached to a desk that I havent received yet.
I understand that there are now only 2 people working at Dangerfox due to all of their delays but we are coming up on a year of waiting for a desk that originally had a 14 week lead time
The only acceptable resolution for this issue is for the desk to be delivered.

I ordered this 24U Genesis **** from Dangerfox on 5/26/23, with an estimated ***** week lead time. I knew that the timeline was likely a little off, hearing from friends that it could take twice as long. I checked back in September for an update, and in November I was told to expect it in December at the latest. At that time I set up a few sessions with some friends to visit from across the states, with the first being this week. I'm not a business, but I produce and record for my friends for free. I received a few emails apologizing in December and January about being backed up, this point it being 9 months later. I understand supply chain issues and labor shortage, but this whole time I was sending 5-6 emails per email I was receiving back. I've seen their products, I'm a fan of their incredible attention to detail, but I haven't been able to receive my own yet. Two weeks ago, I reached out about the first session I had set up with friends flying in from the other side of the country. On January 16th, I was told it would be pushed ahead to ship on time for my session. On January 24th, they promised it would ship the following week. Since then, I've sent 6 emails, tried to reach out by phone, tried to ******** message, reached out on their website contact form, and ended up finding this BBB list of complaints. I told them that I at least needed to hear back from them by 4pm today. Since my friends are out here on their money, I'm paying to rent out someone else's studio over an hour away so that they haven't wasted their time and money. Because I was promised this desk in time, I didn't go purchase another desk just in case. I have several more sessions coming up and don't know which ones I need to cancel. I want to have a good experience with Dangerfox, but to do that I need some communication and this desk to ship asap. Thank youBusiness response

I am rejecting this response, as I haven't had my product ship yet, and I don't want this complaint to time out. I have heard back from the company, letting me know that it would ship out first thing this week. I haven't heard back since that contact, late last week. I will accept this complaint as resolved when I get confirmation it has shipped.I am still actively cancelling travel plans with many groups, with no concrete ship date for me to work with.

After about 14 months of ordering, the desk finally arrived on January 14, ****, but the armrests were heavily stained and color of the desk did not match the specifications I provided during the order, so I contacted the manufacturer on January 17, ****.I was informed that the armrests would be exchanged with clean ones, but as of January 31, I have not received a response when I inquired about the shipping date.As for the color difference, they replied that they changed the color because the previous one was prone to unevenness in the paint.The color was so different from what I ordered that I offered to exchange it for another color option closer to the original desired color, but was told that this was not possible.Even though the color of the desk was changed after the order was placed for their convenience, there was not a single word of explanation. This is very unprofessional and dishonest. All we can hope for is a quick shipment of exchange armrests and a good solution to the color difference.Initial Complaint

I am writing to file a complaint concerning a significant issue I've encountered with a purchase from *************.In November 2022, I made a purchase of a studio desk from ************* for $3,892.91(ORDER #****). The initially communicated delivery timeline was up to 12 weeks, but due to the impact of the ongoing pandemic at the time, there were significant delays. Throughout this period, I reached out on multiple occasions to inquire about the status of my order. While there were instances of no response, there was a moment when the manufacturer provided information on the current progress.In August 2023, I received communication that the desk had been completed and was awaiting shipment. However, as of January ****, the desk has yet to be shipped. Despite numerous follow-up inquiries, I received only one response in October of last year, indicating a temporary halt in the shipment process due to procedural issues. Unfortunately, there has been no further communication explaining the nature of the problem or providing an estimated resolution timeline.I am deeply frustrated by this situation and seek your assistance in addressing this matter promptly. I ordered a Xylo 13U rack on June 12 with a published lead time of 6-8 weeks. I sent an email inquiring on the status since the were already a month behind. I received a response on Sep 11 "Hey *****, I completely understand and I am so sorry. We are almost there and anticipate your order going out this month. We've been practically shut down due to not having any material. We've been delayed so badly here it's been crazy! I am working on purchasing material from another supplier so we can get back up and running at full capacity, but I am going to have to purchase a lot more than we normally do. So I am putting together all the funds to make that happen. Thank you for your understanding and patience. I promise you this is not what we saw coming and is the last thing we need right now. A little inside scoop, we are launching in Sweetwater Oct 3rd, so I HAVE to have material in the next couple weeks. All that to say, I am working my **** off and I am confident we will have things running smooth in the next few weeks." They sent a blanket email to customers on Sep 25 saying they were sorry but orders are coming. This was a the last communication I received. I have since sent two additional follow up emails with no response. At this point I would ask for a full refund but I am certain that the will not honor that request as the money has be allocated for stock and to fulfill other orders. I am disappointed with the lack of communication and general inability to let customers know where the products are and real delivery date. I had previously ordered a desk from Dangerfox which took twice as long to deliver than promised and was somewhat lacking in the communication. It was a mistake for me to order again and I will not recommend to anyone else to purchase their products.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:Please simply cancel the order. I have purchased a replacement and on recommendation ************ I have filed a dispute with Mastercard with all correspondence. Its a side rack, *********** shuttle. Your failure to communicate with me led to the complaint and subsequent charge dispute. This all could have been avoided.
