On 10/14/2022, my husband took our Toyota Camry Hybrid to Kwik Kar Hickory Creek for an oil change. They called him to the deck because they had changed the oil twice and could not get the dash lights to go off. They were showing error messages. They said the first time showed low oil pressure so they changed the oil again and then a hybrid warning light and the check engine light came on. My husband said they needed to fix it. They called the manager out and they said they didn't know what was wrong and he needed to take it up with the dealership. No dash lights were on when he took the car in but they said they couldn't fix it. He went straight to Toyota of Denton and had to pay $199.95 for them to run diagnostics, find out that the car had been started for 3-5 seconds while the oil had been drained and was at 0 pressure, and it just needed to be reset, luckily it wasn't on long enough to cause any permanent damage. They said Kwik Kar should have known how to do that. We went back to Kwik Kar with the receipt and diagnostics report and requested they reimburse the $199.95 we had to pay at Toyota of Denton because of their mistake. The manager said the diagnostics report was a lie and they did everything right and he would take a copy and let the owner know of our complaint. He refused to provide the owners name and contact information. I am now requesting the $199.95 and the oil change be paid back to us.
