The owner of the goldstar rescue will not return my dog. I am trying to obtain my dog without filing a missing dog report. Please return my dog to her home.

Colleen ***** sold her dog to me. In the state of Texas, dogs are property. I have Messenger messages as substantial evidence of this transaction. This dog was kept in a 14 inch kennel space for over twelve hours a day, no water. The dog was not microchipped nor spayed. Colleen ***** verbally admitted to overdosing the puppy with calming/melatonin/CBD chews. Colleen ***** is now slandering me on social media and has posted erroneous facts, stating I stole her dog. I will have my attorney send her a cease and desist letter if she does not remove the post from ******* *** **** ** ********. She is threatening to report her dog as stolen.

Note: Filing a false police report in the state of Texas is in violation of penal code section 37.08. A) A person commits an offense if, with intent to deceive, he knowingly makes a false statement that is material to a criminal investigation and makes a statement to: 1) a peace officer or federal special investigator conducting the investigation; or 2) any employee of a law enforcement agency that is enforcement agency that is authorized by the agency to conduct the investigation and that the actor knows is conducting the investigation.

FILING a false report under Section 37.08 is a Class B Misdemeanor, punishable by up to 180 days in jail and a fine up to $2,000.

Please advise if necessary legal proceedings are required.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response.  If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the resptonse made by the business in

reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to close the case. But please not that I did not leave the dog in a kennel for 12 hours nor did I mention that to Denise. I placed her in a nice sized play pen, which she would escape daily with food, water, toys and a pad. I did not mistreat her or overdose her. I did provide calming aids because she had separation anxiety and I could not work from home. But I will accept and close this case.
