    I used Amcap Mortgage as a first-time home buyer. The location was the Sugarland office They were very honest and knowledgeable during the pre-approval and underwriting process. I had a lot of questions for Denise and Bonnie. They were very helpful towards me the whole time. It was a breeze!! Thank you, and my realtor Nicole was great as well!! I would definitely use them again in the future for another purchase.

    This is in regards to one employee at AmCap. Gage ********. During the application process, i reached out to Gage with a question of concern on (3) seperate occasions. No reply what so ever. I found out later that our deal did not go through due to the shortage of several thousand dollars. Had i known this, I could have made the funds available. Finally after voicing my displeasure via email with him, using a few choice words regarding his rudeness & lack of consideration, the **** ****** runs to his supervisor with my email.......NOW WE HAVE COMMUNICATION ESTABLISHED ?? ! I have never experianced such terrlble business ethics from a lender. From one Veteran to another, from one human being to another,.....stay away from AmCap !

    Be careful !!! I started with Roxie 15 days ago Run my credit and still waiting for her I called many times (no answer) Many text messages (she said couple times “in the meeting call you soon” (Never called) All she wrote in the page is backwards is pain in the back . Still waiting for answer but I don’t care any more Stay away from them or get a bad experience.

    I had paid my Jan 2023 loan payment to AmCap before getting notice it was sold. The payment had not posted at the new lien holder. I contacted AmCap and was provide the FEDEX tracking number where they had sent it to the new company, they had received it almost 60 days earlier. I then called the new lien holder and was told they did not have it, and i would need to prove I sent it. I had already provided the tracking # and asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor told me she would submit the information to try and locate it. I asked if I would get a call back, she told me I could go online and look at my account to see if it had posted. I then called AmCap and spoke with Pamela. After telling her my experience, Pamela took it upon herself to email the other company and by 5 pm the same day, she called me back to tell me the payment had been located at the other company and would be posted to my account. Thank you, Pamela, for going above and beyond and caring about my situation. You provide excellent customer service today!

    Top notch customer service from Mr. Ronald G***** and his team from Houston. He kept in communication with us every step of the way and with our Relator. Closing was done quickly and efficiently.

    Horrible. I don't know any other word that can describe what these people do... Don't trust them at all, they lie throughout the whole process. Tried to let the person in charge, Mr.*****, know our situation and get a compensation for the harm they did, but this person doesn't accept responsibility for what Mr. Mike *******a (in charge of the process) did or the company. They are shady, they don't respond when you call and never tell with the truth. On the 31st of December of the year 2021, we arrived to the state of Texas from the state of Washington, following the indications of Mr. Mike *******a, to sign and close on our house. This closing was not fulfilled and no valid explanation from Mr. Mike *******a was given to us. We departed on the 27th of December of the year 2021 from the state of Washington to be able to arrive on the 31st of December of the year 2021 for the closing because of the indications of Mr. Mike *******a, who told us that everything was ready for us to sign. We arrived as planned on the 31st of December of 2021 without papers to sign for the closing, only with a simple instruction of bringing the IRS documents that informed that our account was paid off, again, something that was never informed to us by Mr. Mike *******a. He never told us this was a document that was necessary. If not we would have never left the state of Washington knowing that I, and my family as well, would not have a place to live. Like I stated earlier, we left trusting and believing the word that was given to us by Mr. Mike *******a; we would arrive to sign and close on our house and be able to reside in our new home. We had to find another company who got everything good to go, but we were homeless for 48 days until completion of paperwork again. This company if I can even call it company, are irresponsible and don't assume any responsibility at all. Advice: DON'T let them be in charge of some place you want to call home. - Mr. S*******
