I recently had the pleasure of working with Proper Roofing for the installation of siding and gutters on my home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. From the very beginning, the sales representative impressed me with their extensive knowledge of the products. They were clear and realistic about what to expect throughout the project, which set a positive tone from the start. Once the project was handed over to the management team, the communication remained outstanding. I was kept informed about every step of the process, which alleviated any concerns I had. It was refreshing to know exactly what was happening at all times. The installation crew was nothing short of professional. Their craftsmanship truly reflected their expertise in the trade. Although the entire siding and gutter project took about a week to complete, it was evident that they prioritized quality over speed. They took their time to ensure everything was installed correctly, and the attention to detail was noticeable. Additionally, I was very pleased with the financing options available. It made the whole experience much easier and more manageable. In conclusion, I highly recommend Proper Roofing to anyone looking for reliable and skilled roofing services. We are thrilled with the finished product and grateful for the exceptional service we received.

We had a roof replaced and the radiant barrier in the attic. Once the job was done, we picked up over 220 nails ourselves. We purchased a magnet on a stick and started picking up nails. I made a complaint to the company. They took the nails and apologized. Offered us products at cost (which was not at cost on their suggestions.) We did not go with any other products. Next, the roof started dripping gunky dark product onto the ground. It stained the new decking, the new driveway etc. We contacted the company. They said we have never seen anything like this. They talked to numerous people who have never seen this. They went back to the warranty people of the roof who said it was completely normal. Nothing to be done. Their suggestion was to put gutters on the roof, of course, at their cost. (which it wasn't.) The communication with the company was horrible! I left emails, messages, texts, phone calls etc. No one higher up than the product manager ever returned my calls. When I told them I wasn't going to go with gutters, I never heard from them again regarding the staining of the new deck and driveway. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

We chose Proper Roofing because of their good reviews. We had our roof replaced and a radiant barrier installed in the attic. Due to a rain delay, the radiant barrier was installed first. The job went smoothly. After that, they came and replaced the roof and, as promised, it was done in one day and clean up was thorough. Our problems started shortly after that , when it became very humid in our house. We had never had this problem before and we knew the only change we had made was the radiant barrier and roof installation. I bought a meter and it registered that the humidity in our home was now 87%!!! We contacted our foreman and after several times trying to reach him, he finally came out. He checked the humidity but he couldn't find anything that they had done wrong in their installation. He suggested we call an air conditioning company to see if anything was wrong with our air conditioning system. We hired an air conditioning company, and they sent out their most senior technician who dealt with humidity. He inspected our air conditioning system , which he said was working perfectly. During his inspection he did note that the ducts in the attic had fallen and the ducts were not getting a good flow. The poor flow was causing the humidity problem. It seems that when they (Proper Roofing) put the radiant barrier in, they just nailed the ducts back up instead of securing them properly with screws. To have this fixed cost us another $1245. Since this was caused by the installation done by Proper Roofing, we asked them to pay this charge, which they never did. It seemed only fair that we should be compensated. Since they caused the problem, they should pay for fixing it. Also, after hurricane Beryl came, some of our just installed shingles came off. We asked them to come and inspect the roof and replace the shingles. They have never bothered to reply or come to do this inspection. Their inadequate customer care after installation is the reason for this poor rating.

From the sales pitch to the install, this was the most enjoyable process. My roof is beautiful, every single employee I interacted with was friendly, I never felt pushed into the sale and the cleanup was flawless!! I will be recommending this company to anyone who will listen.

Proper roofing was very informative about the roof. They came in and looked at what my needs were, and satisfied all my needs. I am happy with the quality of work they did. Everyone has been very nice! And Ken pointed everything out and showed us what they had to offer.

It was very enjoyable working with this roofing company. I have never had so much fun spending money!!! There was no pressure by the salesman, Dan was excellent. It was a joy working with him.
