Absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. They held a 1300 dollar payment for 6 months from my business then when they finally released the funds they kept 350 of it claiming it went to fees after I told them to cancel my account months prior. Upon reviewing my bank account statements I noticed they have been taking between 50 and 85 dollars each month on top of the ****** they stole. I don't recommend these clowns to anyone.SignaPay Response

Your feedback is important to us, and we'd like to address the issues you've ********* February 2024, we processed a keyed transaction of $3,105.00 for the sale of a vehicle. Due to the nature of the transaction, it was flagged for verification to protect both your business and your customers from potential fraud. You were paid for this transaction because your account was on Next Day Funding, so in order to mitigate any further loss, we put a Hold on your account while we tried to verify the transaction. Unfortunately, the transaction was not verified, so the hold continued to cover a potential chargeback. In that same time frame, your bank account on file was rejecting for fees associated with maintaining a merchant account. That only furthered our reasoning to continue holding funds.SignaPay only received a formal closure notice on November 11, 2024, so the account was closed then, but fees are still owed for that time period. A message was sent to your sales representative to see if they were willing to accommodate your request. We encourage you to reach out to them and see if they will refund you what you believe you are owed.Review from Marissa B

Do not recommend. They do not follow though with what they tell you. They do not tell you about the fees for everything you do. I set it up originally to have next day funding and a year later its still not active. I have called 3 times to have this corrected. Then to be told by the last person there is a fee just to have that process done. I will be changing companies as soon as I get my money that I was supposed to already have.Review from Joanna H

This company is horrible! First the. ***** rep said hes right around the corner if we have any issues,no havent seen him since. Then they logged me out of my system and it would not let me log in on a weekend over the busiest time! Finally prayed and I was able to change my password and it logged me in so the registers would work! Then the worst of all, my rep told me I need to remove all signage about the customer needing to pay a percentage for using their card, take pictures, and sign and email a form, did all that sent it, then noticed my account was so low wondering why? Noticed all transactions are being withheld because I didnt do all the things when in fact I did but the person who was supposed to receive the info was on maternity leave!!!! So, small business, trying to survive,had funds withheld because someone was on maternity leave, meanwhile ** struggling not knowing whats happening, finally spoke with a very loud supervisor who talked right over me never cared or listened to me! Im so upset I cannot wait to switch companies. DO NOT GO WITH SIGNA PAY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They do not care about you and your small business at all!!Review from Carlos L

These people are very deceitful. Gave them a try bedside they said they could better my rates and no contract yet they locked me into a contract with some finance lending company that I had no idea he would do. Never told me that I would be leasing the equipment for 100 dollars a month for 5 years. Yes it's my fault for not reading the contract and finding out on my own but there was no mention of this. I clearly asked if there was a contract he said no, bet didn't explain that their is a contract for the equipment and that they would lock me in. On top f that we always had issues with this device . I got scammed by this company and one of the sells man lied to us to get business. Said all equipment are free , then I am looking at my account and they start taking $178 and $59.95 charges.Dont do business with this company This will have to go to court!! I have been battling the RISK department now for 3 days. This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, and I have been in the work force for 30+ years. They continue to SIT on my money with lame excuse after lame excuse why they cannot release. This will be the last transaction we do, and they will no longer make money off our hard work!Review from Pamela R

Scam artists. These guys are playing a shell game and I got played. Do not let them into your office. Stupidly, I gave out way too much information and now I have had to cut up all my debit cards and cancel current checking account to keep from mounting charges for services I do not have. Biggest mistake in my 25 years of small business operation.SignaPay Response

Poor customer service, high processing fee's. When I closed out my account with them, they continue to charge me pci compliance fees. Their tech department never helped me with EMV chip reader causing chargebacks I couldn't handle through disputes with SignaPay. Lost a lot of money, and little to no help from this processor.Review from Cindy H

I would not recommend Signa pay to anyone that has a small business. I have been with them for at least 8 years or more and have been trying to switch to square because they dont have any fees. I was not under a contract anymore and tried to terminate my account with ******* andI was charged $495 for early termination because I didnt give 90 day notice, they never told me that, the only way for me to get that money back was to sign another 3 year contract. I was charged more fees again in July. PCI and yearly fees. Im a very small business and I really feel trappedSignaPay Response

I regret 100% changing to this company. They come in and wow you with their "no hidden fees" and "no monthly credit card fees". Our original sales rep was a guy named ******. I should have known from the beginning this company would give me nothing but grief when after the first week he wouldn't even answer or return my calls. This is actually quite common with the company. Don't bother leaving voicemails or callback #'s in the automated system. They never call back. I have to end up calling 2-3 times a year because the fees are different on our bank statement. Have a customer dispute a charge...you get charged an automatic $35 for them to send you documents on the charge. If you email/fax in proof that the charge is legit, another $35 on top of the $10 monthly fee. To give an example, we had a dispute from a customer for $40.16. I ended up paying $70 in fees and still did not get my money back even though I had supporting documentation. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told I would be contacted within 24hrs. Still haven't heard back. I was never told about PCI compliance when I signed up. So after the first 3 months, the fee instantly went up and were outrageous. Come to find out, I should have been notified upon signing up. So quarterly, I have to manually complete a scan on my network. But dare not be 10 seconds late or you'll be charged then too. And what's really sad, they don't even know their own customers. I get at least one sales call every month trying to sell me their credit card services. I am currently awaiting a call back from an agent to find out what I need to do to have our services cancelled. Should be within ***** hrs according to customer service. Save yourself the hassle, time, and headache and move on. This company is not worth it. They are only costing me more money than it's worth. And by the way, if no stars was an option, I wouldn't bother straining the muscle in my finger to click the mouse for the one they got from me.SignaPay Response
