Every single order I have placed in the last 2 years has been horrible. Specifically on yesterday, I ordered a well done sirloin steak dinner with mashed potatoes, broccoli, and toast. I received an extremely ****** steak mixed in with a watery pile of potatoes. No broccoli was included and the toast looked as if it was taken from the trash or another customers leftover plate. I am beyond upset at the carelessness and disrespect at this establishment on the one out of 5 occasions that I attempted to contact the restaurant. Most times the phone rings until voicemail. I also cannot reach anyone at the local corporate office.Business response

In the early morning of April 26 my husband and I stopped to eat at Dennys after celebrating my birthday. There was no one in the restaurant besides us, and it took forever to get any type of surface from the waitress and cook, which were the only two people there they kept going to the back we finally got served and within 10 minutes of eating our food we were ******* back home to run to the bathroom both my husband and I. We got violently sick immediately after eating and immediately threw away our food, and we were up for the rest of the night and day in the bathroom. I immediately contacted Dennys on ******** and have been given the runaround and given no refund and its been now almost a month. I am not sure what was going on at that restaurant that night, but it was very peculiar. How we had to practically scream at the top of our lungs to get them to come out from the very back of the restaurant. We just want our refund because our food was in edible and what we did eat made us violently ill. We should not have to go through all of this just to get money back from a very bad experience. We will not be back to this restaurant.Business response

I have reached out to them a third time since I filed a complaint with talk and they keep saying someone is going to contact me but nobody ever does. Theyre just playing games and I just want a refund. It is ridiculous that my husband and I got violently ill within 10 minutes of eating the food, we barely made it home. We are very thankful that we lived so close to this restaurant, but there has got to be a better customer service Than ignoring a customer for over a month and not just issuing a refund.Customer response

I placed and order for food online through Denny's. When we received the food all we received was bread and orange juice. I called them for reimbursement and still have not received it. They keep telling they are sorry that they are working on it. It has been a week and still have not heard from them or received my refund.Business response

On 06/19/22 I ordered breakfast from Denny's and my order was incorrect as well as late. I paid $32.65, and requested a refund from both Denny's and CashApp. Denny's informed me that refund requests were handled at the store and no one reached out to me. I requested a refund via CashApp but they have been very slow concerning their "review process". I process refunds for the federal government, it doesn't take two months to process a refund. I need my money back, this is terrible business on both companies. I am tired of sending emails back and forth concerning food I ordered in June! I just want my $32.65. The last 4 of the card I used is **** Expiration date *****. The card is with Cashapp.Business response

I went to pick up my online order. They told me for nearly 30 minutes they were "bagging" my food. After an hour passing in total time, I asked for a refund. A woman with long braids yelled at me that "somebody is going to pay for this food! Either you or DoorDash. We made the food, we are busy, and you aren't going to get your money back for the work that we did." I didn't understand why she kept screaming about DoorDash when I ordered this food online for myself. She refused my refund. After 5 more minutes of me waiting, they came out and brought my food. I never got my coffees I ordered and paid for. They gave me cheesecake to "make up for it". When I brought the food home, I nearly cracked my tooth as there were rocks in my food. How do rocks get in the food? They believe I deserved rocks in my food when they could have communicated there would be a delay for my food or someone forgot to make the food. I can't say this was an accident because we have all seen the movie "waiting." This woman insisted that I had no right for a refund even thought I had no food. I wanted to leave and get my children fed. To be berated in that store and made to be forced to accept food that I no longer wanted, is absurd. I paid for a tip in my order. Nobody deserves a tip for their tasteless behavior. You can't force people to accept food that you no longer wanted. Her screaming was disgusting.Business response

U took my mother and father out for a late mother's day dinner to the Denny's on Drury lane in Arnold mo we went in the tables chairs a floors were sticky we ordered any way to get food not cooked right and on dirty dishes with dirty silverware I went to use the lady's room and it was flooded with wet toilet paper all over the floor I asked for a manager and was told they didn't have one on duty because of be so short handed I didn't make a scene there because my father has just been through brain surgery and had a chuck the size of a cantolope and can't handle stress or confrontation without having a psychotic break so I chose to call this morning and talked to a lady that said she is the general manager she said she talked to her staff and basically called me a liar I told her I wanted a refund or for it to be made right or I would call the corporate office health department and better business bureau she told me to do what I had to do and hung up on me this was completely unprofessional and disrespectful I have worked in the restaurant business since I was 8 yes old and never let any of them get run down and as filthy as that place and never once have I call a customer a liar I have made reports with their corporate office and the health department I just want this rectified and that manager reprimanded under no circumstance was how she handled the situation appropriate! Worse experience I've ever had at and restaurant including fast food I spent 64$ and some change and I ask for a refund because I was unsatisfied and she refused so I need my money back and that manager to be reprimanded thank you for your timeBusiness response
