In May of ******************************* *** which damaged my roof. My insurance company, ***********************, after evaluation sent me a check for $5,981.65 to replace my roof with a balance to be paid after the roof is completed. ****** *****, an employee of Flying Squirrel Roofing located at ********************************************* contacted me and we agreed for his company to complete the job. ******* ** ******, also represented herself as an employee for the roofing company who assisted in mailing the check to the mortgage company on my behalf for endorsement. However, unbeknown to me, Mrs. ****** had the mortgage company to mail the endorsed check to ************************************************************************ per **********. This is the private residence of ****** and *******. I have made multiple attempts since 10/30/24 to reach ****** ***** to obtain a date when the roof repairs will be made. However, he has ignored my calls and text messages. After making a final attempt to get the work completed, I requested return of full payment of the insurance money that was cashed by ****** *****, without my consent. As of 12-5-2024, I have not received a full refund by Flying Squirrel Roofing Company.

I worked with this customer five years ago and completed a roof for them with no problems. On this job: Your new wife came to the workers every five minutes treating them like garbage.  I cannot do anything for you because you dont deserve any service any longer. The money what you gave me you already have in your house you got an invoice and you know what you were charged for the work that was completed.  Everyone deserves respect.
If you dont like it we can go to court because the wife has mental issues. No one deserves to be treated like garbage. Thank you have a good day.

This roofing company was paid on November 2, 2022 to install a new roof; on January 22, 2023, they removed the shingles before they had the new shingles delivered. Unfortunately, after they removed the shingles, we had 3 days of rain, and the roof was exposed without shingles for that time. While most of the house was ok, there were a three big leaks, that left damage to carpet in guest bedroom and walls in the kitchen; another leak came through the vent right into the water heater pan, and I had to get the plumber out to fix the water heater. In addition, there was water in the a/c pan in the attic and the exhaust vent was separated; had to get the A/C repairmen out to fix that fiasco. Now the shingles are on and the installation was really pour. I have two areas where the ridge cap tiles are missing. I made 5 calls to their answering service who took messages; this morning the phone is disconnected. I hired a repair person to tarp the two areas to prevent damage. Charge was $170 and I still don't have the ridge repaired. I would like for the roofing company to come and fix the ridge cap tiles and make sure the rest of the tiles are secured. I would also like to see a $170 refund for the cost to tarp the two areas .

I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. Reluctantly accept resolution. My neighbor indicated that roof ridge has been fixed. Since I am 75 years old, I cannot climb on the roof and inspect for myself. Hopefully there will be no more leaks

I've been trying now for four months to get in touch with this company call replace my roof five years ago and did not put screws in to secure my chimney stack . I've called the number it doesn't work. I've went to the address at the urban towers in Las Colinas they're not here and The security doesn't have a valid working phone number. I really need some assistance I can be reached at 210-355-6252. I don't feel that I should have to pay $580 for something that they were negligent on.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/31) */ We replaced your roof in 2017. In the last 5 years since then, from 2018 until present day; there have been 3 hail reports in 2018, 8 hail reports in 2019, 17 hail reports in 2020, 6 hail reports in 2021, and 2 hail reports in 2022 so far. I never touched your chimney when working on your roof. If you're saying that there's shingles lifted on your roof, which I see from one message when you called the business you need to call your insurance company and make a claim with them. Any roof warranty is for normal wear to the roof. I am not responsible. Thank you Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/09/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I would like them to provide a valid number, so I may speak to them directly. The number on the web site and on my paperwork doesn't work. I have had no claims on my roof since they installed it.
