Terrible customer service and cancellation experience. Manager speaks down to you and is condescending. They refuse to contact you using your preferred method. Manager left me a VM saying I could be refunded then told me it wasn't possible when I returned her call. Why say it on my VM if it wasn't possible? Overall awful experience and overcharged.

I have been a member at planet tan now Palm beach tan and the level of disrespect I was given by ******* that works there was off the charts rude. I dont normally complain or right reviews but when I was told that if I want to learn and have better knowledge about the lotions Im currently using I should seek her (*******) first off I have worked in the tanning business for years and I know shes wanting to sell the products Iv been in sales industry for over ******************************************************************************************************* again. I am hoping that someone will maybe teach or more so coach and develop this employee on better presentations towards the guest because at the end of the day we are the end results of your business profits!!

If I could give this place a zero I would. The salon itself is OK, but the customer service is seriously lacking. I had a membership for a couple of months and I canceled it. I even got a confirmation email that said your account is canceled, and you will no longer be billed. Two months later they start to bill me again. Now they are giving me some BS excuse as to why they cant refund my money??? Mind you, I havent stepped foot in that place since June 24. Again, I got a confirmation email clearly stating that I would no longer be billed. They do not stand behind what they say, I even have it in writing, and it still did me absolutely no good. BUYER BEWARE CONSUMER BEWARE. DO NOT GO TO PBT.

When I visited the *********************** I decided to stay and not return to ****************************************. I asked Palm Beach Tan to return my credited money. They refused and stated I signed away that money when I joined and was only due an in store credit for their over priced items. When I asked what happens to my money if I can't return. As you can see from the email chain they did not have the decency to respond to that question. Just know Palm Beach Tan will steal your money if you are unable to return for an over priced in store ********* response to ************************* if I no longer live in the area and can't recoup my credit then Palm Beach tan just keeps "Your" money. That is not a good business plan and leads me to file a complaint with the state of Florida and explain what is being done with "MY" money as well as put this under Palm Beach reviews wherever possible. Sad that Palm Beach would do this over $56.00 regardless of what a member signs. Sounds just like what happens to people when they sign a shady gym membership. On Thu, Jul 11, 2024, 1:18PM ******** ******* wrote:Hi ********,The credit is on your tanning account. As stated in the Stay and Save document that you signed, the amount that you paid each month to be frozen is non-refundable to your card, however is placed as a credit on your tanning account. This is how the program is set for everyone and is stated in the document.Sincerely,******** ******* Customer Care Coordinator **********************/ ********************** **************

When you pay money for a service like the tanning service at **** Beach, you expect professionalism walking today. Person is standing at the counter. Two people are behind the counter either on the floor or on sitting on the floor unprofessional onto the bed again you pay money for the services you think they would replace the bulbs that they need to be replaced Unprofessional

Used to tan at the ************** ********** location. Had to relocate out of state for work. I contacted customer service to cancel my membership. They claim they cant cancel my membership because that location that I tanned at is a franchise. I called the ************** location they told me they cant cancel my membership unless in person. That I would need to contact customer service. So the store wont cancel my membership and customer service wont cancel my membership. Im not quite sure how this company is getting away with this. This is fraudulent and unethical.

As a long time customer of the **************************** location, I appreciate the friendliness of your employees specifically *****. She is always helpful and friendly to customers coming in and is very efficient. This location is always clean and organized and there is hardly ever a wait as the girls promptly get the beds cleaned and the customers checked in. I get asked often when I get my tan and always refer them.

SCAM! They charge you full price for a membership then only allow you to use half the time. They dont clean the beds properly, theres always fingerprints and smudges. The red light bed is over booked and theres constantly a wait. They are short staffed and chaotic at check in. And their prices are way higher than any other salon Ive been too.

I went to Palm Beach Tan at ************************. Told her to cancel my membership. Told to sign a pad. Thought I was done. Keep charging my $8.39 a month they call it a freeze. July still getting charged. Went to cancel again. no refund . Their contract says $7.50 a month for a freeze.Never wanted freeze ...Only cancel. They won't take cash. This place just wants your card so they can keep charging.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars As a longtime customer of **********************'s ************** location at ************, I have always appreciated the convenience and quality of their services. However, a recent experience has left me deeply disappointed and questioning their commitment to customer satisfaction.During my visit on June 2nd, I encountered an unexpected and frustrating situation. Despite being a loyal customer for many years, I was informed that my three-month membership fees had been declined due to a compromised card. While I understand that these things can happen, what truly shocked me was the lack of flexibility or assistance from the staff.Despite explaining my situation, I was still required to pay a $149 balance, even though I hadn't utilized the services since February. What's more, I was appalled to learn that Palm Beach Tan does not notify customers when their card is declined. This lack of transparency is simply unacceptable.Ultimately, I felt compelled to settle the fee, but the overall experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth. It is disheartening to see a company prioritize collecting fees over accommodating loyal customers.Regrettably, I can no longer recommend Palm Beach Tan to others. My advice to potential customers would be to beware of their questionable financial practices and consider alternative tanning salons that value transparency and customer service
