  I received a letter from the company offering to purchase a piece of property that I own for a specific amount of money dated 4/18/22. The instruction in the letter were to complete the attached Purchase Agreement and return to them no later than 5/27/22. I followed the instruction and returned the agreement via email on 5/16/22 with a follow up email on 5/24/22 and received no email response. I also called the phone number on the letter on 5/19, 5/24 and 5/26, each time the answering service assured me that my call would be returned in ***** hours. My call was never returned. On 5/27/22, I called the phone number on their website and the owner ****** Watson answered. He let me know that he would not be able to purchase my property for the price on his Purchase Agreement because there was no water to the property. He explained that he sends out ****** offer letters at a time and does not conduct due diligence in advance. The only contingencies in the Purchase Agreement are "legal and physical aspects of the property ownership", free and clear ownership and returning the letter before the deadline. In my opinion, this company is not conducting themselves professionally and honoring their commitments. I did not file a property tax value dispute before the deadline based on my anticipated sell of the property.

  We are very sorry that this customer had a negative experience with out company.  We pride ourselves for providing an easy and hassle free experience for the overwhelming majority of of our customers. 

  As we explained over the phone, the purchase agreement itself does in no way place a property under contract until it has actually been received by the title company. Once a title company receives the contract and calls the seller to verify the they do in deed wish to sell that property, then it is under contract.  

  We do apologize if you were not notified by someone on our staff earlier. That is a shortfall that we will work to ensure does not happen again in the future.

  I am rejecting this response because:  The apology for not notifying me that you did not wish to put the property under contract in no way resolves the issue. The fact remains that I was sent and executed a Purchase Agreement that you did not honor.  I will have legal review of the Purchase Agreement and the contingencies listed. In my opinion, the business model of this company is not professional and I urge anyone considering conducting business with them to reconsider.
