They've had my car in for service since May. 3 months. No backordered parts, nothing. They just haven't even started on the work. I need my car back, transmission fixed.

Our team has contacted our client and ensured the vehicle will be completed. Another client allowed us to move her vehicle ahead of theirs. We apologize for the delay as we look to add certified technicians to improve completion time for our guests.
    Thank you

    Complaint: 20438804

I am rejecting this response because:

They called me and told me they ordered the transmission and it shipped on the 21st. He said it would be there by the 24th. Yesterday, the 29th we went to the dealership to check on my vehicle since they were not returning emails or calls. Parts didn't show it as shipped and said it would probably be another week or two. They've had my car for 4 months!!!!! My husband went to look at my car to make sure they put my sun visors back up since it's back out in the 110 degree sun. They didn't but when he was leaving he noticed they damaged my car in multiple spots. There are dings that weren't there when we dropped it off despite it being in a fenced back lot only access by employees. But worse, it looks like a tech got a chemical sprayed on my passenger door causing multiple spots of bubbling paint. They're not small either. The door will have to be repainted. This is literally a nightmare. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE NEAR THIS DEALERSHIP.

    Regards,

I traded in my previous vehicle for a 2023 Kia ******** in March of 2022 out of necessity. I have already had to make a big expense to replace the radiator of this vehicle in July 2022. When the radiator busted, my vehicle did not alert or warn me of any high temperatures. The only reason I knew this happened was because of the coolant all over my car and driveway after it was parked. After getting the vehicle towed to ******, **., service employee ******************* informed me that a rock entered through the front of the vehicle thru the small holes in the grille. Although not impossible, it seemed odd to me since I only drove 5 miles to my parents house and had not been driving behind any vehicles on the way. He misinformed me when giving me a quote after I asked if my warranty, insurance, or extra coverage I had signed up for would help me with any of this. Skeptical, I got a second opinion and handled the claim with my insurance instead of the dealership. Now, in December of 2022 and this month of January 2023, i have been getting warning signals and multiple lights turn on on my dashboard, while I am driving. after 3 recalls and now this, I am extremely concerned that there may be something wrong with this vehicle as I have had it for less than a year. It is impossible to tell which warning signals are valid and which are a glitch in the system. I voiced my concerns about this to ************ and he informed me that there is a very long waiting list for an issue like this to be looked at, which I understand. I asked if an issue were to occur if it would be covered under the warranty since it cannot be looked at now, he advised me not to use the vehicle until I could get it looked at. Unfortunately, this is impossible for me since the vehicle is the only means of transportation for myself and my daughter. I can barely afford to make the high monthly payment for this car and do not want to have another issue where I would have to pay for repairs that I am not at fault for.

Customer states warning light turned on, vehicle arrived Jan. 31,2023, found duct flaps were not opening and closing. Parts have been replaced under warranty and rental was provided to customer.
