    I purchased a 2023 Silver Toyota Tacoma from Mac Haik Toyota in July 2023. It was supposed to include the dealer add-ons that I have included on the yellow slip in the picture that I uploaded. All items were included except for the activation of the ****** that I have circled in the uploaded picture. The ****** was installed but the dealership refuses to activate it because they do not want to pay $500 for the activation fee. They gave me a special deal on this vehicle as a result of ruining the engine in a 2009 Corolla that I had repaired at the dealer. I purchased another 2023 Black Toyota Tacoma from the same dealership in December of 2023. The ****** was installed and activated on that vehicle because they made a profit on that sale that they were apparently satisfied with. This dealership is not honoring their agreement by not wanting to activate the ****** on the vehicle I purchased in July because they apparently did not make a profit on that sale that they were satisfied with. It is not my problem that they ruined the engine in my 2009 Corolla because of their incompetence and had to extend a special deal on the Tacoma I purchased in July. What I am asking is that they activate the ****** device in the 2023 Silver Toyota Tacoma that I purchased in July 2023. This is a **** ****** ******** ****** to give me the activation on the vehicle that they made more profit on and refuse the activation on the vehicle that they made very little profit on because of the deal they had to make as a result their incompetent workmanship.

    Dropped off vehicle for service and was advised I would get a loaner if it went past 30 days because the part was on back order. When my insurance rental was up I called for the loaner and was advised I was on a waiting list. Had to pay a week for rental while I scrambled for the part which if I had known before hand could’ve got it before my 39 day rental was up.

    Toyota's policy for back ordered parts states,  if the customer pays an expedite fee ( which is special handling for back ordered parts),they will in turn cover rental charges, as long as there are vehicles available. Due to the ongoing unfortunate series of events, within our area, the theft of catalytic converters, insurance claims and backlog of back ordered parts, this dealership as NO ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION/RENTAL CARS.  This is a serious and costly event for many people.  We will refund the customer's expedite fee, and will continue to keep the part status as expedited, however, we will not be responsible for rental charges.  When alternate transportation becomes available, we will definitely contact the customer.
