Great customer service in ***********. I lost my purse in Penneys while Christmas shopping. Several employees took much of their time to help me look for it. The general manager used the cameras, to see where all Id been in the store. Three hours later I found it. I cant say enough good things about the people there that helped me find it I had laid it down on a table of sweaters. A man named **** and the general manager were especially helpful.J C Penney Company, Inc. Response

I will never order from JCP again. This is a dinosaur business that is trying to do online selling . The representatives are mostly overseas and information they have is completely different from the information JCPenney *** has. I ordered furniture and I had a terrible experience. Fortunately, I had paid with ******. I still do not have the furniture and the status is unknown. ****** checked into the matter and I was covered. When you buy a product from JCPenney, do not expect treatments like you get from ****** or ******* online. WORST AND RUDE CLUELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We will never do business online or store purchase again with them. They do not care about there CUSTOMERS!!! I see them out of business within the next 5 YEARS, Even then at there going out of business sale we won't be there.Review from CHRYSTAL M

Received order and security tag was still attached. Was told I had to take item to nearest JCPENNEY to have removed. We do not even have a JCPENNEY. I asked for a refund and to be sent a replacement, I was told NO I had to bring into a store to have it removed. Due to their negligence I am supposed to travel to the nearest store to have the tag removed. This happens to multiple people I have spoken with. Customer support also told me they would mail me a device to remove the security tag. We all know that will not be happening , they do not send those to people. Very poor support and taking responsibility for their neglect.Review from Kara C

Ordered a bed in person on Nov. 9. Was told would recieve on 21st. I made arrangements for other bedrm furn to be delivered that dat so only to take one day off work. After 5 different calls and different sorrys why my bed wasnt even sent set it boils down to it took 11 days to send the order to ***** so they could then call me to schedule a delivery date. My child is without his bed . im having to lose pay for another day. WHY SIT ON IT FOR 11 DAYS? I PAID FOR IT IN FULL SO IT SHOULD HAVE GOINE OUT WITHiN 24 HR. Is coming the 26th . No more big purchase there. ill spend more to get honest delivery info and ttimely delivery. ** ***** claims flexible and fast delivery.....its a lieJ C Penney Company, Inc. Response

This is regarding an order placed October 9th on their website. On Oct 22nd I sent the email below to support at JCPenney dot com with no response as of today October 27th. Maybe that email is not valid. I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with an order I placed October 9th. While part of the order was shipped out on October 10th, the most critical itema pair of earrings meant to be a birthday giftwas not shipped until ************. Upon logging in to the website it states the earrings were shipped 10/09 (photo attached). Despite over a week later 10/18 receiving an email confirmation stating that the item had finally been shipped, the tracking information has yet to update, and the package has not arrived as of today, October 22nd. When I check the tracking number the last update was Oct 17th and it says awaiting carrier pickup. This delay has caused significant inconvenience, as the earrings were intended for a time-sensitive occasion. I have been a loyal JCPenney customer, but this experience has left me deeply disappointed. The lack of timely shipping and poor communication around tracking have seriously impacted my trust in your services.I would appreciate an immediate update on the status of my order and any steps you will take to rectify this situation. I had ordered a expensive bed that came with a hard box bed to sit on.( this did not work with this type of bed!) They charged me to restock the bo bed but have not come to pick up the bed box! They have changed the date to do so 6 times!!! I ordered the bed on the 1st of September! They're dates that they made were September 18, September 26, October 2, October 8, October 14, and now October 17! This is punishment for anyone to go through! I am tired of waiting for them to pick this thing up! I have had too my problems with this company lately! My last order ended up across town at the ********, I live on the West side! Be careful adding your name as an authorized user. On 10/11/24, A call to remove authorized user on ******************** cc. The representative happily stated she will remove the user, but we would have to send a copy of the authorized users social security number and drivers license to remove from the credit report. This is ludicrous, unheard of. A customer should not have to compromise their personal secure information in the mail. A manager on the call still could not resolve. This should not fall back on the customer. We will be closing this card. Hopefully other card companies are not doing the same.Review from Jazzmyne P

I am extremely disappointed in JCPenney's. I ordered a new recliner and sofa on September 7, 2024. It is now October 9, 2024 and I have not received the recliner or the sofa. Not only that JCPenney's doesn't know where my furniture is at. They've given me two different transport company with THREE different tracking numbers. AND neither of the transit companies have my furniture. When I call JCPenney, they have zero clue where my furniture is at. I even tried to FB message JCPenney, and they can't find my furniture either. On TOP of all the run around, I have already been CHARGED for the furniture I have NOT received.
