First appt for exam and what was to be done. Second spot 2 fillings and impressions for complete denture and lower partial. Third appt for try in of denture and partial. Forth appt 3 extractions and receipt of denture and partial. Last spot for post op. Was told at that time he was moving to Aspen dental clinic and to call if I needed further adjustments. Well I called he is no longer there. I have a denture and partial that don't fit properly. Can't go to another dentist without paying more money since these adjusts we're paid for. Also paid for a reline 1 yr. Have tried calling the office and sending emails no response I can't afford to pay for another set of teeth so I won't be in pain while I try to eat. I don't know what else I can do. If I can't get ahold of this dentist then no one else can. I am a US Retired/Disabled Veteran and I need a resolution to my problem

In Fall, 2023, I paid Dr. ********************** ********************** at Longview Dental Center almost $6,000 for a dental "bridge." I had impressions made and a plan to have some teeth pulled before the device was made. Due to some personal issues, it was December before I went back in to receive the bridge. At that time Dr. ********************** told me that he was closing his practice permanently. I asked, "Where will I get my bridge?" to which he replied, "I don't know where you will have it made." I asked for my money back, and he replied, " I don't have it. If I did, I'd give it to you, but I don't. Why did you pay in advance anyway?" I told him that he offered me a 10% discount if I paid that one specific day, so I hurried to my bank before they closed for the day and got a check from my savings account to give to him. I became so upset at that point in the conversation that I started to cry, so he said, "I'll write out a letter and sign it with a witness." He did that; the letter just says that he will pay me the money "when I'm able." That was before Christmas, and I have not heard from him at all since. Needless to say, I am distraught and do not know where to turn. He said he would be working at Aspen Dental in Longview, but I called there and they have never heard of him! Please advise me what to do. I don't even know what type of attorney that I need to try to get the money back. Until I do, I have to go to work at a junior college missing several front teeth! It humiliates me every day! My job requires professional dress and grooming.
