I just left and was treated like trash, very sneaky and full of lies…offered me one figure and then something else not worthy of anyone wasting time there !!!! Then the manager didn’t want to come speak with me directly nor did Yazmin who had been texting and calling me to come in so they could look at my car…… 12/26/2024 11 am…. So I was to rate you luckily you would get one star or no star at all…… I will Never enter this establishment ever again……Review from John B

Zero stars! Buyer beware! Deceptive business practices continue at Keating Toyota. The advertised price you see online is not the price. The quote you have from your auto buying program is not the price. We drove an hour to the dealership with our **** *** ******** Reports offer in hand. We did the test drive and were content with the vehicle. There should be no haggling with the car buying program. However, we were passed on to one of the owners to discuss numbers. We were told that they have no need to honor any car buying programs (****** ******* **** **** etc.) post Covid. We were irritated, but knew the online advertised price was within a few hundred dollars of the buying program offer. The co-owner said the price online was mistaken and that there should be no discount on that car. He would honor that discount, but we MUST purchase their Apex car protection package at $3900 in order to buy the car. We did not want any of the add-on options in the package. We argued to have it removed from the price and asserted that the car should be sold for the True Car price that stated only online tax, title, license fees would be added. Or remove the package and the car should be sold for the advertised online price. The co-owner said that the little * on the screen noted that the price could increase and claimed that allowed them to change the price without being deceptive. According to the ***** ********** ** ***** ******** regarding 43 TX Admin Code 215.250, "a disclaimer does not get you out of rule compliance". They refused to remove the $3900 Apex car protection package stating that it was REQUIRED on all vehicles purchased from their dealership. We walked away and are writing reviews and filing complaints to hopefully save others the time and frustration. We fear for those who are easily bullied or convinced that this is an acceptable business practice and pay more than they can afford.Review from Emy D

Managers are bullies and liars. I wanted a refund for a truck that I put on hold because it was getting shipped to this dealership and it wasn’t there yet. I was suspicious about the very high price that they wanted for this Tacoma TRD off road truck so I went to a different Toyota dealership and found a better deal. When I went back to Keating they wanted proof of a this better deal before they would give me my $1,000 down to hold the truck. I knew that I didn’t have to explain myself but continuously was, lack of a better term, yelled at like I was the bad guy in this whole situation. I finally left in tears without my refund because of the embarrassment and anxiety I was feeling. No customer who is trying to purchase a vehicle should EVER feel the way I did when I was there. I actually felt fear bc of this salesman who threatened to charge me anyways and leave the car in the parking lot (in his words). This place is horrible and I feel horrible for people who fall for their scams including myself.Review from Tywanna P

0 stars. Contractor salesman ***** Huggins told me that if I co-signed for my husband, he would give me $1000.00 a month for 6 months. He said I would receive check in 5 to 10 days...It took me 2 months get the first check...after 2 visits and several calls to the dealership. Last visit Aug 10th, guy who claimed to the fiance manager told me that Mr Huggins no longer worked at the dealership. I asked to make a complaint they bring in used car salesmans man *** DiBlasio. They both look at me like I'm crazy and explain that what Mr Huggins told me was not authorized, only the one time payment was approved. They refused to listen and accept that their salesman lied to make a sale. I asked to speak to finance guy that we signed papers with Mr Charles but was informed he was no longer our finance person. He lied about the warranties. We were told Toyota has bumper to bumper warranty but on the contract we were being charged. Yes, I accept we should have read info more carefully but they real you in and you assume they are being honest when in reality they are adding things and lying to make a sale. As soon as we get a chance, we will be getting rid of the truck. I would rather be without a vehicle than to deal with SCAMMERS AND DISHONEST PEOPLE. Mr DiBlasio said he would talk with Mr Huggins as of Aug 21st, I have yet to hear from anyone at the dealership. BUYERS BEWARE, DO YOUR RESEARCH AND READ READ READ! Also double check contracts before signing anything with this dealership. If I could do 0 stars, I would.Review from Magen A

WARNING!!! Dont just take my word for it this place has a terrible reputation all over the internet!!!! Do not under any circumstance give this place your business. We purchased a CPO vehicle from them and was lied to throughout the whole entire process, even before we even came to look at the vehicle. We told them the price we would pay and that we wouldn't go over that....and they reassured us several times and by two different sales "managers" that that wouldn't be an issue and they could get us out the door under our price. Well we show up and of course that's not the case. So lie #1 was our guaranteed price. Second lie is the condition of the vehicle. It was supposed to be in very good like new condition for an only 1 year old vehicle. For CPO its supposed to be in pretty much new car condition without any cosmetic damages. Their CPO vehicles aren't supposed to have been involved in an accident, however, ours was and after we purchased and i started noticing a few things off we had it assessed by a professional body shop and the vehicle needed over 18k worth of work to repair the shoddy repair work that had been wrong and replace the aftermarket parts with OEM parts from toyota. The frame was bent and the core support was very damaged from the previous wreck and then from whatever repair the shop tried to do to fix it.....which was to bend the core support around in a way that created a bend/fold on the opposite side. As you can imagine after we drove it off of the lot NO ONE at this dealership will contact us or return our MANY attempts at addressing this. No we did not lead with why we were calling so there was no reason for them to think we had any major concerns just that we would like to speak to someone about the vehicle we just bought. I could go on and on about this terrible place but i think ive wasted enough of my time and yours trying to warn you. JUST DONT!!!!!Review from Gerald C

This is about toyota keating dealership. We bought a car in Feb 2024, wanted to pay off the car but their financial services said that we can just pay it off on the first due date with no penalty and anything extra to pay.before April 4, 2024, we paid of the car. Then we checked the process online, we saw that we still owe $56. Then we paid it again. Days after, to check the process, we saw that we already owed $534. We immidiately called ****** ********** said that we have to talk to the dealership. We went to the dealership, talk to the manager and he said her will take care of it but never reached back to us again nor help us. We called ****** ********* again, said somebody will call us back but nobody has called. Toyota keating representative called us and said that it’s not their problem anymore and doesn’t want anything forwarded to them regarding our case. She recommended to call to call ****** ********* ********* which we did. Now they’re trying to send us back again to toyota keating. No help from both partiesReview from Andy D

Keating Toyota Strikes once again on predatory and unethical behavior to boost their commissions. BUYERS BEWARE OF SHADY PRACTICES BETWEEN MR. SHAWN ***** & MR. MICHAEL ******* TLDR: As a First time car buyer, my dream turned into a NIGHTMARE due to UNETHICAL BAIT & SWITCH PRACTICES BY FLOOR MANAGER & FINANCIAL MANAGER, I was shadily forced to buy 4 APEX PROTECTION PACKAGES valued at $9857 just slapped onto my loan. There had been no prior paperwork or itemized breakdown of these packages anywhere on my service contract. No complete breakdown of the “BUYER ORDER” was presented to me nor did I have a paper copy or receipt. No e-mails have come in from Apex or Toyota reflecting any of these charges that I “bought” willingly. Not even an activation for the “mandatory APEX GPS” Had I gotten these emails, I would have taken action within 10 days of the cancellation of this OPTIONAL ADD ONS. The Financial manager Michael ******* failed to provide any documentation of the APEX packages and gave me no option to deny any of these unwanted add-ons. Upon catching the mistakes, I had to go into the dealership twice to get the necessary documentation, only to find out the service contracts had my named printed and forged under my “signature” but not my actual signature/ Basically was upcharged nearly $10k on top on “MANDATORY” optional packages. They took advantage of me and tried to rush me to sign all these paperwork without properly disclosing these add ons anywhere on any documentation copies I have. Therefore I had to make 2 visits to get copies of these charges. *** ** ******* **** *** **** ******* ****** ********* ** *** *** ******* ** ******** ******* *** ********* *** ********* ** ******* ****** ** ******* ********** **** ********** ******* ******* **** ********* ***** ******* *** **** ********* ******* **** **** ***Review from Gage D

$40k over sticker is robbery. I was mocked and asked what I think they should charge to which I stated the cars value. I was told this after pulling my deposit from another dealer after waiting 8 months for a Supra. Back to waiting and hopefully nobody supports their insane mark ups.Review from Sindhu C

Very shady and deceptive place!! They are known to advertise low prices on their website as a bait and when you are there to see the car, the price will go up. We agreed upon a price for a Camry XSE hybrid; Remember they keep you waiting for hours long with the intention to tire you out when you see the finance person, so he can add all those unwanted warranties and you sign for it electronically without knowing. We caught him (Charles) added different plans worth almost $2500, when he finally printed out and gave us the paper to sign. My husband instantly caught it and asked him to remove it. His face changed and he removed it without saying a word. They are very deceptive. Deal was finalized, agreed to come back the next day and get the car. To see the finance person, we waited for at least 45 minutes. Then we completed the paperwork. We were led outside to our new car which was kept detailed and washed and ready to go. Here comes Renee, our sales rep saying “ I am sorry guys. We were working with wrong VIN numbers”. She led us to speak with Mr Terry Sinclair who said “ I can’t sell this Camry for this price. Sorry I can’t finalize this sale. We were working with an SE VIN number”. We were shocked. What is going on?? Is this a small mistake??? Can you imagine spending over 10 hrs in the dealership in 2 days, agreeing upon a price, doing all paperwork at the finance, getting the packet of paper, key everything, when you are about to drive out in. your new car, they come and say “ sorry we can not make this sales final, we messed up, the numbers were on a SE on XSE. It is so frustrating. Over the years, dealing with several car dealerships and owing several cars, this was our first. We went home without the car that we spent hours there and did the paperwork for! Be very careful about their tactics. They are known to put low prices in their website and when you go there to purchase it, they will play all kind of games to get money!!Review from Quincy L
