We received a call from Bay Imaging stating that there was a price increase on our printer toner and that they were sending the toner soon. We did not confirm that we needed it and this is not even our normal supplier but they billed us. We have a contract with ***** and should not be billed by an outside company for toner. We would like the current invoice to be revoked and to return the unopened toner as soon as possible. We would like to be paid back the previous invoices that were unfortunately paid. We do not want to be contacted via phone or invoiced again in the future. I tried calling the number on the invoice and tried emailing their generic email address.Business response

Dear BBB:
We received your letter dated November 13, 2024. We are not sure why ********* ***** contacted your office. All matters Bay Imaging, *** is committed to resolve. We had spoken to ********* ***** November 12th,13th and on November 14th we left a message to call back; she had requested a prepaid label to return the merchandise that was authorized.
We have credited the Invoice in full out of good faith that the merchandise would be returned. We have placed *************************************** on our Do Not Ship List.
The statements ********* ***** has made regarding Bay Imaging, ***. are simple incorrect. Bay Imaging ***. has full disclosure requirements to eliminate any possibility of a customer confusing us with other suppliers.
Bay Imaging ***. is a service company which provides among other things, shipping, billing and customer ********************** for independent sales companies. We do not employ any salespeople or engage in direct sales of merchandise.
Bay Imaging, ***. strive to satisfy customers if an inaccurate order has happened. We are here to resolve any issues within our company policys.Thank you.

We received a call from this company stating that there was a price increase on our printer toner and that they were sending the toner soon. We received a call from this company stating that there was a price increase on our printer toner and that they were sending the toner soon. We do not pay for ink but they billed us. We would like a full refund and return the toner as soon as possible. I tried calling the number on the invoice we received but I was directed to an email **************************************** I have sent them an email but no response yet.Business response

We received your letter dated July 1, 2024. We spoke with ********************************* on July 1, 2024 and the matter has been resolved to her full satisfaction. The Invoice was credited in full and Idaka ******** **** has been placed on our Do Not Ship List.
The comments in the complaint are simply not the truth. We believe Idaka ******** *** has a perspective color by other vendors. The facts are we have a variety of supplies and services that local companies do not offer.
We do appreciate any information that *** contribute towards our continued effort to maintain policy and procedures. Bay Imaging,**** has full disclosure requirements to eliminate any possibility of a customer confusing us with other suppliers.
The order was approved by ********************************* on June 3,2024.

Our hospital was a victim of a phishing campaign. Bay Imaging called and got an office worker on the phone and was able to get information from them regarding office machinery. They then created an order for a wildly overpriced toner cartridge that was supposedly mailed out. They have provided a tracking number, but this hospital has no employee with the first initial, last name that was listed.All of our copier toners are ordered solely through our leasing company and no office in our organization is authorized to order product. Orders are placed through our dedicated purchasing department and must have a valid purchase order. A verbal PO of a person's name is not valid. The $898.00 invoice has no valid PO and, therefore, cannot be paid.These toner scams are commonplace and although we continually educate our employees of unethical practices, all it takes is a medical office answering the phone on a busy day for something like this to slip through. Also, the invoice has been sent to a collection agency that has no BBB accreditation, no website and the phone number cannot be reverse searched. It may be a phantom collection agency.Business response

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. They call our office acting like they are our toner supplier. They know all the names of employees as well. They continue to send toner and invoice us. The toner they send isn't even the toner we use! You cant even get a hold of anyone, the number has a voicemail but doesn't even say the name of the companyBusiness response

This company is a scam artist. They make unsolicited calls to unsuspecting companies and convince whomever they reach that they need to confirm the make and model of the copier to ship them out a new toner cartridge. The purposely make the recipient of the call THINK that they're the company that services your equipment. No where in the conversation as it's RECORDED on this side too, do they ever inform the person that they are attempting to SELL THEM TONER. They also don't bother to ask if the person they're duping is authorized to incur charges on behalf of the company, therefore guess what? Your illegal $698.00 invoice for a toner cartridge that costs less than $100.00 will NEVER be paid. I'll see you in court ;)Business response

We received your letter dated May 29, 2024. We spoke with *************************** on May 28, 2024, and the matter has been resolved. The Invoice was credited in full and **** Systems has been placed on our Do Not Ship List. The merchandise was returned from **** Systems.

As we mentioned to Makenzie, Bay Imaging, **** is a service company, which provides among other things, shipping, billing and customer ********************** for independent sales companies. We do not employ any salespersons or engage in direct sales of merchandise.
It is the sales company policy to clearly identify themselves during any telephone conversation is a policy that is closely enforced by monitoring all conversation within their client representative department. In addition, all scheduled shipments once placed, are re-verified by an officer of the credit department to re-confirm such items as authorization to purchase, purchase order numbers, price, quantity, quality,billing and shipping instructions, and once again to clearly identify themselves. The majority of these calls are recorded for quality assurance purposes. This call was made to *************************** on May 14, 2024, the day after the order was placed. This is done with every effort to protect and assist our customers as well as provide internal security for us.We do appreciate any information that *** contribute towards our continued effort to maintain policy and procedures. Bay Imaging,INC. has full disclosure requirements to eliminate any possibility of a customer confusing us with other suppliers.

An employee I'm assuming is with Bay Imaging, **** named ************************* called in stating he was with Canon and wanted to verify our toner order. Being as Canon has called on multiple occasions there were no red flags. He wanted to confirm an order as well as apologize we didn't receive an email updating our account. I confirmed the order per usual but received a bill from Bay Imaging when I know I ordered from Canon. I do not want to pay this bill AND will happily return the item but I do not want to accrue any fees as the sales person stated they were from a company that they actually have no affiliation with. I called Canon to confirm. I also have the call with **************** recorded and will provide if needed.Business response
