    I had a remaining balance of $6.11 last year 2023 I paid it in 2023. I have misplaced the receipt since then but I have emailed them my bank statement showing that it was paid. They continue to bill me for it and keep giving me the run around as to why they will not put it as paid.

    On April 26, 2022, I went by this company with an appointment to have blood drawn for lab work to be performed. I was charged $54 though I was told on the phone days earlier before going by there that the cost was $40 for lab work. When I asked the person at the counter why I was charged $54 when the price I was previously quoted over the phone was $40. She simply said it was because "I was having this and this and this done" pointing at a piece of paper work that I could not see. On 3 previous occasions at this location I paid my bill in full only to have about a week later an additional amount of $5 show up on my account. The person I was talking with over the phone could not explain to me what the charge was for or why it was there. I refused to pay it each time and the extra charge was removed. They appear to have a new way to deceive patients into paying more for services that were not done. Whether this is a pattern for all patients or just me I do not know. I am requesting a refund of $14.

Based on your concerns, I reviewed your visits to the office and payments after receiving service. In reviewing your prior visits and payments, I did not find any records that indicate that you have an outstanding balance on your account or that we overcharged for any visit or blood work completed. Specifically, on your January 4th visit, we actually adjusted four dollars off the account. As a patient that is self pay, without insurance or Medicare/Medicaid coverage, we are offering you reduce rates for the services provided you need for your healthcare. However, I do apologize on your April 26th visit that our intake representative did not take more time to ensure that you understood all the lab work needed that day and why there may have been a change in the dollar amount given prior to your visit. Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2022/05/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I have always had a problem with the attitude of your support staff during my visits to your office. To be told over the phone that the price would be $40 with no variation and then be told the price is $54 when I arrive is not right. Especially when I was given no reason for the difference when I asked why there was a difference upon arriving. I will go through other channels to get my $14 difference back from your organization simply as a matter of principal. Your business seems to be more of a criminal organization than a medical organization. The office manager will contact you today and notify you that you will receive the $14 dollar refund you requested. Per your prior responses, this should meet your desired resolution. As a matter of principal I am satisfied with their refunding me the $14 as I requested.
